Mö-Grill Mönckebergstraße — Restaurant in Hamburg

Used to come here with my folks whenever we visited Hamburg as a kid. It was great to still see this place running after so many years. My partner and I weren't too hungry while we were in Hamburg for the day, but we had to at least get the Thuringer bratwurst that are my parents' favorites.

It brought back memories for sure. There's always a line here but it moves quickly and at EUR 3.50 for a sausage and piece of bread, it's a decent deal for a snack if you're hungry.

There are quite a few of these around the city and you can't go wrong for a quick, cheap bite at any of them. Everything tasted great and all the different sausages we got (thuringer bratwurst, hot dog, kasewurst, and bockwurst) were all distinctly different. For the 20 years I’ve been visiting Hamburg for work, I make it a point to make at least one stop at this wurst stand and I always order the Currywurst.
