Mmmh for the location I would recommend it as the set up is really beautiful. Prices are expensive but that was to be expected. The service is below average. We asked to sit at the window but realised the table was reserved (which we understood) but the waiter didn't even respond (before we saw the sign) and quite aggressively directed us to a different table. When we ordered our drinks, we asked questions and got told each taste is different so they can't answer our question. It wasn't really the answer that bothered us but the attitude. When it came to paying we were distracted and he just looked at us probably expecting a tip? We know in Europe it's common to tip and we usually do but in that moment we didn't understand what was expected and he told us he doesn't have change. Strange attitude again. This way we accidentally tipped very little money but thinking about it we didn't feel comfortable and then didn't bother to give more money. I mean... he didn't have...
Read moreI do not like to leave unpleasant reviews, but for this I must! We enter the place at 4.20 pm and they told us it would have closed in 20 minutes. The lady sitting next to us said they told them it would close at 5. Then I tried to order for us something and ask them if they could warm up the milk for my baby. Firstly the guy seemed to be too busy with the other table he was still serving, then they didn't want to, and told us they could not, while I made them aware that if they can do a cappuccino, they can warm up the milk for us as well. Anyhow, we were not welcome at all, so we left. I would have had smtg from their menu, but simply couldn't as they made it very clear we were not welcome there. I have been in many places with my baby, and nobody ever made me a fuss because I asked to warm up the milk. Btw the baby sat on her pushchair the whole time, never got up or...
Read moreWhat a beautiful and quaint cafe. It was quite packed on Sunday midday. The food was quite decent with great coffee. Attentive service. The English menu is only available through scanning a QR code from a little cute wooden square contraption (photo reference is attached). A mad genius, who designed this piece, didn't take into account that no phone would be able to scan a QR code that's printed in a faint gold color on a very dark red background. Normally when people want their QR code to be readable, it's printed with black ink on white background. We've tried two different trinkets with the QR code and two different phones with no luck. Please just reprint the QR code in black on white and attach a sticker to the cute wooden...
