If you want to come here, I strongly suggest you to make non-cash payment to avoid any possibilities of dishonest behaviour from the Cashier Lady that served me. I experienced unpleasant situation on my visit in April, of which at that time I decided to remain silent, and now I decided to share my experience on this platform.
So, according to my transaction, I had to pay € 3.80 and I gave the Cashier Lady (Frau S) € 20, then she gave me the change, and at the same time I saw her putting something inside Trinkgeld Box. After I left the door I checked she only gave me € 16 back, while it should've been € 16.20. At that time I started to realize that "something" that she put inside Trinkgeld Box was actually my money, my € 0.20. What I want to highlight here is NOT about the amount of the money, BUT her dishonest behaviour. It might have been ONLY € 0.20 but whatever it is, she can't just make a decision herself on what to do with someone else's money/right. Even one Cent has a value and it is money!
In Germany, I am completely aware with the concept of giving Trinkgeld, and I'm always kind enough to give Trinkgeld based on my own willingness. But this kind of dishonest behaviour is very disturbing and totally disrespectful. The Cashier Lady (S) must definitely be trained on how to treat customers in most appropriate...
Read moreGreat ideas on the menu for ordering just the meal you might want.
You can go to the kitchen counter and ask a designated cook to prepare any certain dish on the menu for you and for anybody else in your party.
The interior design of the restaurant is beautiful.
The staff are easygoing and amenable.
There's a good selection of wines at the bar, but not a very good selection of spirits (for instance there are only two whiskeys on offer).
The management have cut far too many corners as far as the condiments and sauces are concerned.
The ingredients of the meal are almost always fresh from the day but the meal itself may be so bland as to be almost tasteless.
Don't eat any meal that is not to your taste.
Complain and with a lot of perservirance you should get to talk to the manager.
Only the manager can order a replacement meal and have the uneaten meal deducted from the bill.
Although the food is simply not good enough I still recommend going here especially if there are more than five people in your group, because it is a nice place, has a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are easygoing and amenable.
Do not go here for gourmet...
Read moreThe place looks a bit abandoned and has for sure lost the charm that it once had. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The beverage prices are just ridiculous. They used to make one of the nicest pizzas in town, now they only have pinsa which has nothing to do with the pizza they once made. It is half as big and also more expensive. The place used to be cool people used to enjoy it, but now with all the quality drops including the staff hospitality and attention, the prices and the lack of pizza, it does seem like people avoid the place with good reason. Even if the food is still good it is hard to enjoy it in the restaurant the music is blasting, the place is dirty and untidy, the service is non existent and the prices are steep. I used to love the place a long time ago. Time to let it go and let it be what it now is (a company that is fighting hard to still exist? Making cuts wherever possible?...
