The service was genuinely great, very friendly and quick despite how packed the place was. It seems to be really well organised and there were staff members left, right and centre. Sadly though, the genuinely friendly staff don't really make up for the negatives. We were sat next to the bar at a table that barely had enough space for one person, never mind two! The large flip book menu thing disguises the fact that there's really not that much range, the two burger buns on offer were both pretty low quality and just fell apart. I expected that a dedicated burger joint where the burgers alone cost 7-9 euros would mean juicy, meaty burgers but the fact was that the patties were small, dry and there was no choice of how you wanted it cooked. I appreciate that the busy nature of the place kind of rules out a certain level of customisability but I was not expected a dry, overdone, flavourless piece of meat. Sadly, it wasn't just the burgers that disappointed, the range of drinks was just a bit surprising honestly. It felt like the place was completely geared towards pushing the cocktail meal deal that any other drinks just had peripheral importance, in terms of beer, this place had possibly the smallest range I've come across in Leipzig. Iam writing a review about Lea , she was amazing with us !! I came on the evening to get some diner , Lea was the waitress and she did great , always polite . Iam writing because I’ve saw how one woman threated the waitress , they were in group . I’ve heard Lea talking to her , very polite and asking for some calm and she said sorry many times because they had a misunderstood . The woman was always being rude with the waitress despite Lea apology. The manager came and she is still somehow harassing the waitress , the manager says “that is enough and you can’t be that rude with someone who already apologised and humiliate someone who is working . I’ve notice they start to do some games and try to write bad reviews… I liked the food and service , but mostly I’ve wrote an review because i know they will try to put the blame on the waitress with bad reviews . I ordered the hans im gluck burger with fries and it was very good. Also the look and feel of the restaurant is very nice. However me and my girlfriend had less luck with the service which was lacking. Our waiter seemed very uninterested and distracted while attending us.

We asked him which burgers he would recommend, he answered with "i dont know what you like". We asked for no veggies in the burger, and the request was ignored, when returned to the kitchen it again came with vegetables (onions, lettuce), and when I offered to take care of it myself, he gave me a very annoyed distasteful look.

Prices kind of border on the expensive, even with lunch special, 14 euro for drink burger and fries is not something I will pay often.
