HiKoo Tori Paitan Ramen — Restaurant in Mannheim

This place was truly the best, so glad we came across it.

Starting with the service, the lady was so kind and sweet, smiling and making sure everything was to our liking. What’s cool about this place is that the menu is not overwhelming whatsoever. The place itself is cozy and gives you a home-like feeling, the seating area is small but comfortable.

The waiting time was not long whatsoever, I believe we began eating 10 minutes after ordering and the restaurant was fairly full. We ordered 2 ramens the “tokyo shoyu” and the “tan tan men”, I ordered it at the highest spice level, it was delicious, I thought the spiciness would not be that much, next time though I would probably order it a little less spicy. So just keep that in mind.🤭 But this didn’t keep me from finishing the whole bowl.

Both were truly delicious, never had better ramen. The whole time while having our food we kept saying how good it is.

Then we ordered gyozas too. Those were also very good but nothing too special.

What’s even better was the price? I mean we paid in total 42 euros for 2 beverages, starter and 2 very big ramen bowls. Which I think is more than fair. We thought it’d be way more expensive considering how much we enjoyed everything.

Overall, I could not recommend this place more. We will be definitely...

Best Ramen in Mannheim and surroundings. Very attentive service, with good prices and a nice cosy ambience.

Food: I had the fried gyoza with chicken and they were great. Soft inside, crispy bottom and very delicious filling. The ramen was the cheapest option, but that didn't make a difference. Great soup, noodles and toppings. Everything was great with enough quantity to have toppings till the end.

Service: Directly noticed at going in and instantly seated, card was delivered fast. Polite and helpful if you don't know what you want. Food was delivered very fast. The dishes were taken away fast.

Price: with drink, starter and main course round about 20€ which is great at the moment.

So if you're craving some authentic ramen, thats the place...

Meine Freunde und Ich waren gestern das erste Mal dort. Wir lieben die japanische Küche und besuchen gerne Neu Entdeckte Restaurant (dieses Mal dank Instagram Werbung) 💜 😉

Vorarb möchte ich hier auch etwas tolles erwähnen; obwohl wir ein Zeitfenster hatten von ca 1 Std, und ein Teil unserer Gruppe im Verkehr von Mannheim feststeckte und eine halbe Std zu spät kam, durften wir länger bleiben. Und das möchte ich hoch anrechnen, dass sie uns so zuvorkommend zu uns waren :) !!!

Kommen wir zum Essen; Wir hatten eine tolle, kleine Auswahl an Vorspeise, Suppen, ihren Einlagen und Dessert. Die Vorspeisen waren frisch zubereitet und waren sehr köstlich! Gyoza, Ebi, edamame und wakame gehören einfach zu den Vorspeisenliste dazu!

Mein Mann und ich haben uns für die TanTanMen entschieden. Es waren einer der besten Ramen, die wir gegessen haben. Das Hackfleisch war sehr zart, und die Suppe war auch nicht zu scharf, eher pikant, was es aber geschmacklich sehr abgerundet hatte! Btw - Die Suppen von Teriyaki und Miso waren auch mega köstlich! (Wir haben bei den anderen naschen dürfen 💕) Gerade Teriyaki war richtig lecker, da durch das Hähnchen die Suppe noch den gewissen kick verpasste!

Über was ich mich noch freue würde, wäre das es Standard ist, wenn 2 halbe Eier dabei sind. Man muss, wenn man 2. haben will, eines extra nochmal bestellen für 1,20€, das finde ich ehrlich gesagt etwas schade. Aber die anderen Extras sind Top und ihr Geld wert :)!

Dessert hatten wir nur die Auswahl von Eis Mochis. (Die super lecker waren! ) Ich würde mich hier auch über 1-2 weitere Dessert freuen! (Doriyaki,Taiyaki oder etwas mit Matcha! 😍)

Die Getränke waren btw auch top! Man merkt das sie hausgemacht sind und sehr erfrischend sind! (Coldbrew Green Tea + Coldbrew Oolong Team) Probieren durfe ich auch den Ginger Tea,, der war auch mega!

Im großem und ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden und hatten ein tolles Erlebnis! Das wir nichts eher von dem Laden gehört hatten, hat uns gewundert, glücklicher ihn aber ausprobiert zu haben! Und wir würden nicht enttäuscht! Auch die Ambiente war wirklich schön und gab das Restaurant die Sympathische Art 😍
