My family and I ate here on Saturday, and it was delicious. When we walked in, we were asked if we had a reservation, and since we aren't from the area, of course we did not. They were so nice to find a seat for us. The inside was very nicely decorated- very cozy, and somewhere to go on a nice date. The wait-staff were very helpful with any questions we had. We had read a lot of reviews about how slow the service was, but we did not have a problem with it. Even with a busy dining room, we didn't wait any longer for our food than with any other nicer restaurant in Germany- it is just part of the German eating experience. We ordered pakoras for an appetizer- which turned out to be potato, zucchini, and eggplant. It came with two different sauces- a mint yogurt sauce, and another- perhaps a fig sauce (though I am not 100% sure on this). Both were very tasty. For dinner we ordered 3 types of naan- plain, garlic, and cheese. All three were very nice, but the garlic was amazing. For our entree, we ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. Again, we weren't sure what to expect, as other reviews that we read told us to expect bland. How wrong they were. The tikka masala was the best, with a hint of spice at the end. The korma was a very mild curry, but it was nice for my young son to be able to eat. We also ordered a mango lassi and a natural lassi- both were nice- complementing the dinner. We ordered a mango lassi to go, however they do not have drink cups to go. The prices are very reasonable- comparable to a nicer Indian restaurant in the States. Entrees run from about 13 euros to around 20 euros, with most of them in between. The waiter was so nice- he made a large one and packaged it for us in a bottle to go. The whole waitstaff were amazing- quick, courteous, and friendly. Our waiter, at the end, made conversation with us- asking us about where we were from and talking about the area. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return (though try to make a...

Read moreThe good part first: The food is close to authentic Indian and not much to complain about and the taste is also somehow different from the multiple dishes ordered. However, it was a big disappointment for the service. The waiter in charge on our fateful day did not understand English, Hindi or German. He knew a very little of German and was a complete turn off for the whole time we spent in the restaurant. On top of that he was not even wearing face mask and certainly not trained to serve in any restaurant, let alone an Indian restaurant, which usually shows a bit of rich Indian hospitality. The soup was served with creme sprayed on top of it! That we returned and the waiter failed to explain anything and wasnt compensated for anything either! I (being an Indian) and hosting some German guests found it miserable. The owner turned up when we finished the business and was genuinely interested in the experience, which was far from positive. I am certainly not returning as a customer nor endorsing for it.. Sorry Indian Palace, you...
