"frex" Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Munich

Food was really disappointing. Responding to the response from Frex to “help them improve”: the options for brunch were honestly embarrassing: some huge pieces of bread (that on the contrary of what’s written in the menu was not grilled) with a little little bit of stuff on top, which was also very heavy to digest (the so called shakshuka was just a bunch of paprika barely cooked and cut in huge pieces) plus the bread was so hard that it was hardly possible to cut it or bite it as all the stuff would fall off. The eggs Benedict were fine, but the guacamole tasted like the one from the cheapest dips from the supermarket and also very very difficult to digest as it tasted completely like onion and nothing else. The “jamon Serrano chips” were carbonised, loosing all the flavour of the original ingredient. The “fresh orange saft” smelled like mold and was definitely not freshly pressed. I hope...

You need to come here and try the Schnitzel with „Croissant coating“. I can promise you, you have never tried something like this before and you never want to eat something else afterwards! Generally the entire menu looks awesome and it’s very delicious. The prices are more than reasonable for Munich!!! I love it!!

Only downside: we were almost the only guests when we visited on a Friday evening. I hope that it becomes more busy so I can continue to eat the crossaint schnitzel in the future....

Came to be such a bad experience 😭 I'm allergic to spicy food and when ordering I asked to make a sause on a side and asked if it's spicy or not (the answer was no).
