we went there last night ( 09.09.2024 around 9 pm) Initially we did not know where to sit because no one was there to guide us, then we found ourselves a place, but then no one came to take our order, then we saw a waiter walking around so we asked if he will take our order here or should we go and counter and place one there and he replied in a very strange way “ what do you want to order? Kunefa? “ i said yes and he said okay, kunefa was delicious, but it was without cream so i went again to the waiter and asked him if we can have it with cream to which he replied no sorry but then all of a sudden the guy working at the cash counter started shouting at me asking me where are you sitting and to whom i gave my order, i told him to which waiter we gave our order and all he said was “ okay “ and started talking to someone else. At the end when we went to pay at the counter he activated the card machine and asked us to scan our card and we were waiting for his confirmation if the payment has been done but he was not at all bothered about the customers and was busy doing his stuff. People working in the kitchen are doing an amazing job but the people at the front are...

We loved this local restaurant so we went 3 days in a row. I ordered the same thing every time the chicken rice. Also ask for the chai (black tea). The first cup it free but the second cup is €1. If you can handle a loud and busy environment maybe you can give this place a try. I didn’t try other dishes but I give 4 stars for my chicken and rice.

One problem is they charge tea differently to different people.

The first two times we went they gave us the first cup free then charged a second cup but the third time we went the lady cashier charged us €0.50 for the first cup. Then we saw the table next to us got two cups for free. So I guess they charge tourist tea for €1. It’s not a big deal but just a shame they treat people...

After a rough 12 hour day traveling, we checked into our hotel and immediately went to this Turkish restaurant we'd seen nearby. It ended up being an amazing experience. From the friendly, helpful servers to the delicious food to the lively atmosphere we thoroughly enjoyed Altin Dilim. For about 7.5 euro per person we each had a meat dish with rice and a flat bread and shared a bottle of water. We dipped food into a chili oil. The local community seems to love the place as the customer stream was steady for 10pm and people obviously knew each other. Friendly and lively. Loved our experience...a great memory. UPDATE: Went back for an early lunch of corba (soup) and bread........yum.

I ordered a portion of Köfte, rice and salad , Çay and (Midye Baklava.) The Köfte tasted really good. It was tender and also smoky. What a great grill ! Can't get enough of that. Tea is good and for Mussel Baklava, I didn't even take a proper photo because I am now in Germany and I didn't expect too much. But damn... it was super excellent. It made me feel like I was back in Türkiye. Only then I realized that I almost forgot the real taste of Baklava after living in München. Trust me. Go to Gaziantep and eat Baklava and then come back to this restaurant and try again. I guarantee that you won't find any differences at all. Bereket olsun 💗.

We ordered lamb pirzola, doner, and kunefe. The taste of Pirzola and doner were average. Kunefe was good. It has crispy and crunchy outside, melt cheese inside. I cannot say it is the best but it is really one of the good kunefe that you can find in Munich. We are there at around 18:30. It was crowded but I think it was a rush hour because after an hour almost nobody left. Even in the rush hour service was fast. There is also self service section where you can get food directly if no one in front of you. First tea after the order is free. *Kunefe in the photo is medium size.
