Brasserie OskarMaria — Restaurant in Munich

Actually, it was a cafe that I always enjoy going to, but unfortunately my last visit was a huge disappointment. We were frequently disturbed at our table by the waiter who served us. He spread his stress to us, he was in a state of rush. It was so clear. Also I saw him serving other tables in the same manner but carelessly. I said to myself, it may have been a bad day for him, but it's important to be understanding. But I also have a limit. Let me summarize briefly: He changed the place of our stool twice, not once, which we took it from the bar to put our belongings on and which did not disturb anyone. He addressed us as "friends" (sorry but we are not your friends but customers) and moreover, he bumped my bag, which I had to hang on the chair I was sitting on because of him, every time he passed behind me. Since our conversation with my friend was quite deep, I waited there calmly until it was time to leave, instead of warning him and stressing myself and my friend. But there is no guarantee that I will not encounter such behavior again. How do you explain such rude behaviors of service personnel towards customers who come here often? I don't think I want to go to Oscar Maria again. All other comments about unfriendly service, I can totally agree....

We had high expectations for Oskar Maria, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The restaurant seems to try to offer a bit of everything (French/Italian/German?), which leads to a lack of clear focus. The place is obviously trendy, as it was quite crowded, and as a result, the service was noticeably slow and somewhat inattentive. As for the food, it was just okay — nothing particularly memorable. We ordered oysters that were surprisingly tiny, scallops that were overwhelmed by too much oil, and a chicken dish that was okay. Overall, Oskar Maria didn’t live up to the hype for us. It feels like the restaurant is spread too thin, and the quality suffers because of it. A disappointing visit given the buzz...

Awful service at the caffe. Took 15 minutes for order to be taken, when my tea did arrive, the waiter slammed it down on the table and left without a word. Later when I wanted to pay, I tried for 20 minutes for catch their attention to no avail. When I went to pay downstairs since I had to go urgently and had waited long enough, I was told I would have to pay double if I didn't wait for the waiter. 10 minutes later, I receive the bill and he waiter actually rolled her eyes at me.
