I think it might be the best place to get Chinese food very close to the city center. Located on the second floor of the building, the restaurant is spacious and clean. It also has a really good atmosphere to eat in with all the traditional Chinese decorations. The service was okay. We ordered four dishes from the lunch menu which were cheaper and I think had smaller portions than the actual menu but it was still worth the price and of course only available during lunch time, it was around nine euros each plate. We ordered Beef cooked with onions, Fried fish with sweet and sour sauce, Fried duck, and Fried pork with sweet and sour sauce. We also got four free soups according to the amount of the dishes and one big bowl of rice for us to share. They were all delicious! The fish, duck, and pork were all crunchy and tasty. The beef was very tender and also tasteful. The soup was well above average. One thing that I don’t like about the restaurant is their tipping system. You are basically pushed to give a tip, for us it was on the machine you use to pay by card, there was no option to not tip on it so we basically had to choose how much we want to tip, this is never the case in other restaurants. Well it was actually not a bad experience when speaking the overall experience. I would recommend the place to you all when wanting to eat Chinese food in the middle of the city because when it comes to the food… it is actually great. I might come back to try their other dishes.

I've been to this restaurant 3 times, 2012, 2015 and now 2022. For me this place is very nostalgic, but I have to give an honest review. Let's start with the good - Food is good, but not great, a bit better than the average Chinese restaurant of this kind. The design of the place is very authentic and nice. When we came there were 2 tables with Chinese people sitting and having fun, so if Chinese people come, it is probably authentic enough. Now for the bad - 1. Expensive - we usually pay 40 euros when we eat in such restaurants, here it was 55. 2. Service had some big flaws - like many said here in the reviews the waiter said "bill doesn't include the tip" and rudely pointed at the bill. I didn't like it. And even if I would give him a tip, I changed my mind after that comment. 3. Maybe it is a culture thing in Germany and I am considered rude, but I usually don't order drinks and just ask for tap water. This is the first time I was told "we don't bring tap water" and not brought the tap water. In conclusion, the restaurant is fine, but could be way better with better service experience.

Lovely Chinese restaurant located in the center. Easy to get to for lunch, not too crowded and with a lovely view of the city. It's nicely decorated, great atmosphere, welcoming staff. Ate lunch specials and some Chinese dumplings, everything was quite delicious. Only drawback is that it's a bit too expensive for my taste and the portions are a bit too small. So I guess value for price is not that good. Other than that, I recommend trying it out. The dumplings I had (they're called gyoza in the menu, but they weren't Japanese at all) were traditional Chinese dumplings - at least this is what my Taiwanese friend said.

I had noodles with chicken and I have to admit this was the worst food I ever had. The quality of the chicken was so bad I couldn’t eat it at all, the consistency of the meat was… almost jelly. I am very impressed in a negative way. They also forgot to use spices. Additionally, the meals are very small, I was still super hungry after a plate but since it tasted so horrible I didn’t wanna eat more. My friends ordered a big drink and got the same size as I had and I ordered a small one. The difference was that my glass was not full. A few minutes after I finished my food, I got a bellyache. Also the atmosphere was very weird, it was way to quiet to feel comfortable. The waitress was overwhelmed by the two vegetarians who wanted to order the meal without meat. The windows were leaky so if you sat next to the window you could feel the outside cold. I have no idea how this restaurant has good ratings at all. The so called authenticity in the ratings is probably being confused with old-fashioned-ness, referring to them using papers to write up orders and not displaying the ingredients of the Chinese food in the menu, so you have no clue what is vegetarian or what’s inside in general. The problem with the first one is, that when you want to pay they don’t know what you ordered. The good thing was, the waiter was friendly, you can see that she tried. The little soup they served was good. And the place looks pretty when you...
