I have been there on New Year’s Eve with my wife and three children, as the place has been recommended to me as family-friendly and not too posh. To secure the reservation, we have been asked to transfer 100 Euro in advance.
While I understand that not only Venice is an expensive place but also restaurants try to benefit from selling full and high price menus a special day like New Year’s Eve, this has been a real rip–off. Ridiculous overpriced and no value for money. Don’t get me wrong this might be a good place for a snack or a quick pizza between sightseeing but not to sell 5 courses on a special occasion.
Even we could convince them in the end not to charge 90 Euro for my 5 year old son, his pizza Margartha has been 22 Euros. Music, ambiance, decoration, nothing has been supporting their claim to ask such high prices. I have NEVER paid more money for less than on this evening! 300 Euros for 5 personal with children 10, 7 and 5. Lesson learned. However just to five some credit, the young service lady was nice and helpful and tried to do their best.
!!!But please don’t go there if you wish to have anything else than a quick pizza or a snack and NEVER fall for their New Year’s Eve special menu.

Read more4 stars pizza, 2 star service! As a local guide, i hardly give bad reviews since i do my research of places where to go. Usually its the service that disappoints me. What to say, 12 minutes for menus to arrive. Asap we got the menus we ordered we didn't want the waiter to leave again so we used the opportunity to order asap! Pizzas were very good, a bit over priced for the size, but the fresh ingredients make up for it. Then at the end again 10 minutes wait for the check after requesting it. And after my "standing up and getting ready" gesture, the waiter said "oh you follow me inside since the card machine is not working outside.... All that after seeing him actually processing two tables with invoices outside just a few minutes ago. And ye waiting inside to bring the card machine from outside now! Ahha! And after all that before typing the amount he was not shy to say "this is the price without tips!". No bro, you don't get tips. Tips are for service that in this experience was a...
Read moreThe waitress pretended not to speak English. I asked if she could give me tap water and double-checked if it was free. She said it was free and after a while she brought me a bottle of still water. She immediately tried to open it and tried to serve it to us. After I stopped her and asked if it was tap water, she said it wasn't (which is obvious). Only then did she reveal the price and I found out that this restaurant doesn't offer tap water. This looks like a hard pressure sale. The quality of the behavior is so bad. And that's not all. All the servers almost threw the food on the table. (I think it's because they are very busy) But when we paid for bill, they asked for a 10% tip. While I was going to the toilet, she told my group that it was a mandatory fee. I think she thought that we were foreigners and wouldn't know German restaurant culture. Be careful of the black female waitress with yellow perm. She is a liar.
Nevertheless there's pasta...
