Overall: Emmi's Kitchen, a vegan restaurant, offers a mixed experience that revolves around the food quality, service, and pricing. While some dishes stood out, the overall value for money and service left room for improvement.

Ambience: The restaurant's ambience falls into the "okay" category, providing a decent backdrop for a vegan dining experience.

Food: I decided to try the Jackfruit Burger, but unfortunately, the jackfruit was overly salty. Upon expressing my concern, the chef's response was disappointing, as they defended the saltiness as intentional. The drinks, labeled as "home-made," seemed to be a blend of ingredients from various bottles, which, while an effort, didn't live up to the expectation of true home-made quality. The vegan scrambled eggs were enjoyable, although they fell short of resembling real eggs. On a more positive note, the vegan sausage and American pancakes were good and provided a satisfying aspect to the meal.

Price: Emmi's Kitchen leans towards the expensive side, prompting questions about the justification for its pricing. While the hype around the vegan concept could contribute to higher costs, I found it challenging to discern an exceptional quality in the ingredients that would warrant the premium price tag.

Service: The service experience was subpar. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was slow, leading to concerns about how they would handle a busier crowd. The lackluster service could be an area for the restaurant to focus on and improve.

In conclusion, Emmi's Kitchen, located at https://www.emmiskitchen.de/, offers an overall okay experience for...

The place is very cute and has a lot of potential to be amazing.

Food: We had the tofu scramble, avocado toast, and the coconut milk rice. For drinks we had the macha latte and the popeye - green smoothie.

The TOFU SCRAMBLE was enjoyable and would be amazing if they use less salt and add some kala manak salt to get a more eggy flavour. Super nice bread. The AVOCADO TOAST simply had too much garlic. We are big fans of garlic, but we could barely eat it. It was burning our tongues. The bread was super nice though. If they use half the amount of garlic, I think the dish would be amazing. The COCONUT MILK RICE was enjoyable. Especially the strawberries and blueberries were delicious. We wish for a little less sugar and some more fresh fruit to make it exceptional. The MACHA LATTE was nice. Not too sweet and also not too bitter. The POPEYE SMOOTHIE* had avocado, apple, spinach, and cucumber. Unfortunately I mostly tasted the apple with a hint of spinach. To make it really amazing, I think there should be a little less apple, some more cucumber, and avocado. All in all a little room to grow, and I honestly think they are so close to making it amazing.

Service: Super friendly and smiling waiters. They could divide the table up between the staff to avoid asking the same questions to the same costumers 10sec apart. But they took good care of us.

We hope to come back to try the...

This was one of the worst experiences I had in a restaurant and it doesn’t even deserve 1 star. The food was not what was written in the menu. The waitress dropped coffee on me which can happen but just added up to my frustration. We waited for our food for 1 hour, after which it started raining and our food got wet. The workers were only concerned with the cushions on the chairs while we were standing crowded under a small umbrella getting wet. We ask the waiter to take us in even if we stand because he kept saying that the tables were reserved. We wanted just eat and leave at this point. Eventually we convinced the waiter to take us in, we sit but our food is all wet and sad because of the rain and i leave my plate full. When the rain stops after about 20 mins we want to pay and the women bringing our check, seeing my full plate infront asks me for tip and explains to me “In Germany it is custom to pay some tip to the waiters” and i give about 1 euro because i was not satisfied and this waitress continues to ask each of öy friends individually for a tip. This place is not good, don’t praise it just...

Updated review: I ordered The Emmi my second time, and it was incredible! The tofu eggs were somehow better than the first time I had them. The snack spread of course was delicious, & the item I specifically came back to try, the coconut Rice pudding was so so good! I also had the golden chai, which was perfect on the sore throat I had from using my voice too much the night before. I sat outside again, which has bees that wouldn't leave me alone last time, so much so that Idocked a star. This time, I had the waitress bring me a small bowl of syrup at the beginning of my meal to set across the table from me so the bees would leave me alone & it worked! 22 Euro. Old review: I thoroughly enjoyed the food! I ordered a coffee & the Ultimate plate, which came with Tofu scramble, vegan sausage, homemade coleslaw, 'snack spread,' bread, & a pancake covered in berries & a berry syrup. 20 Euro. The portions are great, I was hard to finish all of it, & the waitress is kind. I'll definitely be back!
