I can't get my head around the fact that in Munich (but I would say often in Germany) every time you go to a restaurant, the customer is almost considered superfluous, with rather questionable service and the impression that the restaurant is doing you a favor by welcoming you, and not vice versa. In this case, too, I leave a negative comment: the menu is nothing special, the dishes are served with long delays, and more in details we order, me and my girlfriend 2 main dishes, but the first course arrives, along with a glass of wine that we didn't ask for, so we correct the order by replacing the glass with the bottle that we had actually requested, while the second course arrives 20 minutes later... How you can have a romantic dinner where your partner watches you eat is something only they know... The bill was steep and in line with Munich prices: they certainly won't be seeing me again, not a place I...
Read moreWe enjoyed a lunch at QYU, and was happy that they offered a lunch menu. Unfortunately, they only had menus in German, but thankfully the waitress was helpful and explained some of the dishes in English. We started off by sharing some edamame & gyozas, in addition to a complimentary soup. Then each of us had some different noodle dishes. All of them was tastefull with generious portions.
We sat ouside and enjoyed the warm weather, but took a look inside. The interior was inviting and nice, the same applies for the toilets.
Unfortunatly, we were a bit surprised that they do not accepts cards from other than German Banks. As we are visiting in 2024, and in a large city as Munich, we expect restaurants to accept VISA and MasterCard from outside of Germany. For this reason, I am only...

Was soll ich sagen?
We spontaneously decided to head to Qyu on Klenzestraße in the evening. We called shortly beforehand and managed to get a table for three. Nearly all the tables, both inside and outside, were occupied, so we had to wait a while before receiving the menu and being able to order. Unfortunately, after a long wait, our order only arrived after we asked about it. Despite this, I would definitely come back because the staff was clearly under stress but still friendly and very eager to make up for the mistake (we even got a few sushi rolls for free).
The appetizers (we had edamame, spring rolls, and mango salad) eventually arrived, as did the main courses. What can I say? Everything tasted absolutely delicious! We also had some tasty homemade lemonades (lychee-strawberry-mint), which really made up for the initial issues. I’d also like to positively highlight the vegan options, which I personally appreciate :)
In conclusion: things can always go wrong, but when the service makes up for it with friendliness and the kitchen with such good food, it wins you over in the end, and I can definitely recommend...
