Honestly, the best burger I've had in Munich. The first time I came to Munich everyone was hyping up Ruffs burger so I checked it out. Wasn't impressed at all. it was pretty bland and overpriced. But Hamburgerei...totally different story. I love the unique options! I got the Persian and the Argentinian & OMGGGGG. so good. the peanut chutney on the persian is amazinnggg such a good flavor combo. I added bacon because I love it on a burger and it was still just as good. and then the honey mayonnaise on the Argentinian - amazing. I was super skeptical about it because I'm not a huge mayo fan, but it was so good. Also don't be nervous about the salsa on the Argentinian, its not spicy or polarizing in regard to flavor, it really complements the burger and pulls everything together. Also if you care about fries, theirs are pretty solid. they aren't over salted and they aren't dripping in grease. just like the burger it feels clean but its full of flavor. I had the sweet potato fries and the truffle fries. both good.
The last thing I'll say is, if you're crazy picky about the bun, these buns aren't toasted with butter or anything like that. The bun is a bit underwhelming in that it didn't add to the experience but it didn't make it a negative one either. its just a plain toasted bun,...
Read moreWith the word "Hamburger" in its very name, I had high hopes for this burger joint. Upon entering, there was a prominent picture of a classic hamburger (Bun, Meat, Cheese, letuce & Tomato) in all of its delicious glory. I thought to myself... so far... so good!
You can only imagine my disappointment when I ordered (a bacon cheeseburger with mustard) to find...
No Tomato... (they don't have this - despite the picture on the wall)
No Lettuce...(they don't have this - despite the picture on the wall)
And once the burger was delivered, no regular mustard.... Just some guccie-fied fruity mustard chutney mix that tasted like (well you know)... which I promptly returned.
and no regular ketchup either...
Second burger...
This time it was just a plain burger but... despite the menu prominently stating they only served medium-well or well done meat.... I am pretty certain with a defibrillator, I could have returned that cow to life.
So if you are looking to a classic hamburger experience... move along, this is not the hamburger joint you are looking for.
Otherwise, the ingredients were all very good quality, the fries were good, and the staff and service was...

Overall the place has great ambiance and you can choose if sitting outside by the avenue or inside where nice plants and cool decorations makes you feel comfortable.
There’s is a around 12 choices of burger setups which are inspired in different types of cuisines around the word. You can choose beef burger, hallumi or veggie based burger (no fake meat) The waitress asked if we should take it medium rare and we did and it was the right move.
The meat was cooked perfectly and it was super tasty.
We had The Hamburguer and The Scicilian.
The Hamburguer it’s a traditional approach. With a mustard pickle chutney that’s great. We really liked this burger.
On the other side the scicilian was not so great but still it was a quiality burger. The pesto flavor and the cheese took all the protagonism which wasn’t presenting a good balance. We would not recommend this combination.
Sides were perfectly done and the truffle mayo...
