The shop is presenting the Japanese flag, outside they promise authentic Japanese food. So we stepped in and were greeting in Japanese. No answer. From the counter an elder lady was calling "German only" . The tables are very tiny and very ugly. It looks like a 50 year old countryside restaurant in a very poor area. The menu card was offering American style of Japanese food. Where is the authentic Japanese food they promise? The flavour was........every convenient store or supermarket in Japan is offering better food than we got served here. And they offer for much lower price! I don't know what part of restaurant should be Japanese, we couldn't find anything Japanese, only the flag outside and on...
Read moreA Japanese friend told me their foods are not bad, so I went there last week. On Google Maps, it shows that they close at 9:30pm, so I rushed there after work, arrived at 9:15pm. When arriving, they said they don’t take orders any more, the kitchen closed at 9pm, so I left. Few days later, I could finish work earlier, so I again rushed to their restaurant, arrived at 8:58pm. While arriving, the chef and a lady told me that they don’t take customers any more for dine-in, only take-away is available. I was a bit upset and left again.
Maybe they have good Japanese dishes, but I don’t think I’d try to humiliate myself again...
Read moreI personally had a bad experience with this restaurant. I ordered some sushi to take away, clearly specifying I didn't want any wasabi with it. I waited way longer than what I've been told and, once I got home and ate the first nigiri, I found out they put anyway wasabi IN the nigiri... all of them had a wasabi layer between the rice and the slice of salmon. What if I was allergic to it? Not a good way to treat a specific request of a customer, in my opinion.
Apart from this, I found the staff pretty rude and seemed to be not really organized.
Prize is convenient but not so much if I relate it to the service...
