The service is great and the whole place has got the luxury atmosphere. The place is also really clean. The outside table sitting has a great view of the streets and is quite lovely. However the sweets and their matcha latte were not outstanding or anything. Especially the matcha latte had no real matcha flavour or slight bitterness (which should be there) at all. The mango sweets was also mediocre to me. I’ll come back to try other things but so far I wasn’t too impressed.

update I received an email from Google saying that the cafe wants to take down my review due to the reason being that my review violates defamation!

That made me laugh because that’s the whole point of reviewing places! My comment is genuine and is purely based on the experience I had at the cafe and I should be free to express my opinion. The fact they cannot accept some critics really shows what kind of place this is. Never recommended...

The setting was lovely—clean, with pleasant outdoor seating perfect for sunny days. Service was polite. However, our experience was soured by the pricing.

We ordered just two small black coffees and one puff pastry brioche, yet were charged €20. That felt wildly disproportionate for what was essentially a basic coffee and a plain pastry. The brioche was listed at €3 and espresso at €3.80, so the final bill left us puzzled. We only noticed the discrepancy after leaving and checking the payment confirmation.

It’s unclear whether we were mistakenly charged for specialty coffees (€6.90 on the menu), for water, or if a tip was added without consent. Either way, the lack of transparency was disappointing.

My wife and I absolutely love Ladurée. If there is a Ladurée cafe and/or Ladurée store in a town we visit we always stop by and spend a lot of money there. The service is awful at this location! It was so bad that we had to leave immediately without having food there. We were kind of in a rush, so after sitting for 10 minutes at the empty table we asked the waiter to bring us menus. He said to us in a very rude manner’Have patience!’. We complained to the manager but he was rude to us as well. The waiter on the photo must go through the customer service training immediately!
