I recently visited this Italian restaurant and had an incredibly disappointing experience. When I ordered, I didn’t know the exact name of the dish, so I showed the waiter a picture of it. He didn’t mention that they no longer offered it and assured me he would bring it. I took my order and paid with a card without double-checking it as my last experience with them was great and i truly trusted them, only to find out later that it was not what I had ordered at all.
I had explicitly stated that I do not eat pork and requested no pork, yet my dish came with pork. To make matters worse, the waiter falsely claimed that I had asked for it with pork after coming to him for the third time!. This is a serious issue, especially for Arabs and Muslims—BE CAREFUL! As i was told there was no pork, literally i was fooled today for not double checking, Guys double check your orderss!! It took me 1 hour to get my order correctly and after all that I didn’t even get it.
When I refused the dish and asked for a refund, I was told I couldn’t get my money back because I paid with a card. I’m not a law student, but where are the customer rights here? I tried to find out solutions like voucher or any other thing the manager was not helpful at all he said no other options and that he is not obliged to give my money back or even try to think for a solution what a shame! On my previous visit, the service was exceptional, possibly due to the old manager who always prioritized customer service. As someone who works in a hotel reception, I frequently recommend dining spots to guests. I used to recommend this place, but after today, I’m embarrassed and will never recommend it again to avoid ruining anyone else’s evening like mine was today. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever...
Read moreOne of the best Italian restaurants I tried during my trip to Germany.
I visited this place one time for lunch and two times for dinner. The dates were between January 4th to January 7th 2022.
Well located restaurant in Downtown close to the Munich Central Station. Well decorated with fancy touch in lightning and at the bar area.
Most of the staff seemed to be Italians which I think this is why the food is authentic. They are mostly nice, but not su much. It is probably a cultural thing.
I tried the pasta, beef and the pizza. All the dishes were a pleasant surprise. The pizza dough was the best I have tried but I have never been in Italy so, take my words lightly. The beef was perfectly cooked with great flavor. And the pasta was cooked al dente and the sauce complement it very well. The portions size are decent and shareable.
Unfortunately I didn’t try the cocktails but they looked interesting.
About the price, is not super expensive, but not cheap. We paid about $80 per meal including a 10% Tip.
It is worth to...
Read moreLast Saturday, I had the chance to visit MIA restaurant, and overall, it was a great experience. Although finding parking was a bit of a challenge due to its location near the central station, the restaurant itself was not too crowded, which made for a more relaxed dining experience.
The food was generally good, and the service was impeccable. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The music selection was also enjoyable, especially around 10 pm when the vibe became livelier.
The upstairs lounge area had a lovely chilled ambiance, which was perfect for winding down after a long day. The big windows allowed for natural light to enter, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
The only minor complaint I have is that the octopus I had was a little dry, but it still tasted good.
Overall, I would definitely recommend MIA restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience with good food, excellent service, and an...
