Tabacco — Restaurant in Munich

The waiter at the bar was very racist and mean! Do not visit this place is you are not white!

We got to this restaurant and was asked to wait in the hall way. We waited patiently for over 30 minutes then one of the waiters asked us if we could seat at the bar. My sister asked him politely if it was ok to seat at the bar to order as she is really hungry and doesn’t want to drink. The waiter said of course we could seat and order food at the bar. We got to the bar, other people were eating and drinking there, the table was wet and my sister asked if it could be dried. The waiter said the bar is not dirty and ignored the fact that the bar was wet. I grabbed some tissue nearby and wiped the bar. The waiter then asked for our order, I ordered a drink and then he asked my sister if she wanted a drink too and she said ‘no’ and was trying to tell him that she was looking at the menu on her phone to order food. The waiter snapped not allowing her complete her sentence and said we cannot seat at the bar as there are people waiting outside. We were trying to get through to him to tell him that we had waited over 30 mins already and we were told we could eat. Then grabs the wine glass he put in front of me and asked us both to leave.

We asked to speak to a manager and the other staff said they are sorry that’s how things are done there. Unbelievable! My first night in Germany! And it is black...

A friend and I entered the bar tonight at around 1 o'clock. The bar was relatively empty but all the tables were with a "reserved" sign. We asked the waiter if they had place for two. He seemingly ignored us. After waiting a while and still getting no answer we sat down in a bigger table (after asking the other customers sitting on the table, if it was ok). The waiter seemed to be offended by this, which we found strange since he himself ignored us when we asked him if they had a place for us. After taking and bringing our orders he didn't reply to us anymore. After paying the bill we politely asked him why he didn't want to reply us. He said he "treated us the way we treated him from the beginning". We found this utmostly insulting as we both are kind and friendly people. Before leaving we asked him in the nicest possible tone to have a short chat (because we were actually upset about having a conflict with him). His answer: "with you people I will not talk anymore". UPDATE:

Considering my hotel is across the street and I enjoy a cigar with a drink, I went back wondering if it was just a bad night last night. As I entered the bar which again was empty, the waiter "Lenny" I believe his name to be, approached me about my previous review and asked if I had a problem with the service... I replied yes that he ignored my party of friends and provided slow service. I also added that I still tipped him 20% - which he had no problem with but in the end instead of doing what he could to make the situation better, he was even more rude. I would suggest any bar open to 3 am nightly that is empty 2 nights in a row to analyze why. Unfortunate for the bartender who makes a good drink - his waiter stinks. This guy in NY would be unemployed.
