The food was great, very cosy and warm inside, good price compared with the others restaurants nearby. Based on locals reviews they promote this restaurant as the best on in the city.

The quantity and quality is very good for the price, I got the fried egg on top of fries onion strips and potatoes with 2 steaks and browm bread and paid around 15euros for that. It was very good and the waiter very kind with us.

This ended up being one of my favorite meals on my recent trip to Germany. Rothenburg has many restaurants to choose from, but I would highly recommend this one! The prices are good, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious. The kasespatzle was excellent, chanterelle soup was good, and they make a great burger. This place was recommended to me and after I looked at the menu I was a little concerned as it didn't look that exciting to me. However we were absolutely blown away by the quality, taste and pretty much everything. For myself and my family including teenage kids we all 100% loved it. Service was also outstanding.
