My family and I stopped by Acropol Vintage Cafe because of its location and feel of first glance. The owner and a pal welcomed my two young boys during their backgammon game and shared stories of living in Athens while our food was prepared.
My eldest and I have gluten allergies and were able to get the yogurt kafta (spelling?) sans pita bread, which actually went to my youngest and wife to go with their fava beans and tzaki sauce.
All of the food, and local drink fare was quite good.
Peter, our server, was quite helpful and cool to deal with.

Plate came only containing some very spicy peppers (with the seeds still inside). When we asked to pay, cause we needed to leave they asked us why we leaving without the fries that never came and told us they thought we would stay more time. Last time I checked the quality of the service and the time receiving the order was irrelevant to the time you want to stay in the place. Thank you but would not revisit this gem in my city. From, the atmosphere which is relaxing and intimate, to the kindness and helpfulness of the waiters. Above all, the food is absolutely delicious, the menu offering the guests a wide variety of dishes.
