Extremely disappointing experience – poor customer service and rude behavior

We were a group of seven people looking to enjoy a drink, but we were treated with unacceptable rudeness and disrespect. A man who claimed to be the manager refused to seat us at the front tables, saying they were "only for food." However, we clearly saw people at those same tables drinking beer and eating only desserts.

When we politely pointed this out, his response was harsh, dismissive, and unnecessarily strict, insisting that "those are the rules." After realizing we weren't welcome, we decided to leave. His reaction? Sarcastically telling us that it was "a good idea."

I asked to speak to the manager, and he replied arrogantly that he was the one in charge and that he makes the rules. I then went inside to speak with the owner, explained the situation calmly, and he confronted the employee – only to do absolutely nothing.

This told us everything we needed to know about the overall attitude of the establishment. If this is how they treat customers, especially larger groups, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Hospitality and basic respect were completely absent from...

🕸️The Layout: They have an outside seating area with umbrellas (I think it’s also a smoking area) and one closer to the restaurant but still outside but they don’t have umbrellas. They also have a fairly decent sized room for the inside seating area but it doesn’t have as many places to sit as the outside does from what I noticed but if you sit on the sofa closest to the entrance you’ll get a view of the Acropolis.

They’ve also got a bathroom inside the restaurant and you’ll just have to walk to where the bar area is and turn to your right and you should see a door with WC written on it.

🧿My Experience: The staff was extremely friendly and the food arrived fairly quickly too. I had shared a pesto crepe and a club sandwich with 2 other people and we absolutely enjoyed it. Probably one of the best club sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The total cost was €17.00. We also got 3 cups of water for free when we first sat down.

❄️Likes and dislikes: They had a lot of menu options both savory and sweet, going from waffles to ice creams and club sandwiches to crepes, the service was quick, the view of the Acropolis...

After some frustration about the staff from the others restaurants and cafes at the area, we were face by Karim on our walking forward, offering us the huge variety that Kirki has to serve. Once we were seated, could see the very nice, relax, and warm environment that captives the saloon. Karim was 100% on charge, doing an incredible job not just serving and explaining what we could enjoy, but also knew understand a few special thing that we were wishing to treat ourself, and he got it perfectly. Super kind, at all, very professional too, polite, and nice and friendly enough to have a great experience about our coffee by 6pm. The table was served on a excepcional way, with regards around the area. And ALL that we consumed, was fantastic, fresh and well prepared. Karim made our staying of 1 hour there absolutely amazing, it was all his fault (plus the bar/kitchen).
