Gorgeous gelato shop on a little street in Plaka, just under the Acropolis. The vendor was extremely kind and took great pride and pleasure in serving their delicious wares.
My mum and I had a two-flavour cone each - dark chocolate and lemon, and mango and strawberry. The dark chocolate was unique and delicious. Dark chocolate lovers - this is for you! The lemon was a very naturally flavoured and scented, fresh and tangy with tiny bits of rind. Perfect!
The sorbets were refreshing and true to the flavours of the fruit the are derived from. Neither was cloying or overly sweet. Both were springy in their flavour and aroma, beautiful colours, a true joy after a long, hot day of walking around.

Read moreAbsolutely loved the varitey of flavors they have, and the taste is simple so rich and authentic. Loved it. What made Arte Athens even more special for me, is Nicodemus and his sweet gestures to make me feel special and valued as a customer. What a wonderful hospitality he has! Every store needs people like him to make customers feel welcomed and valued. Visit this place when in Athens, and I can assure you, you are gonna fall in love with all gelato flavours they have! My top favorites were - Dubai Chocolate, Ricolla, Pistachio and Hazelnut...

Prices for ice cream cups are 3 - 5 - 7 € from small to big size. We would definitely buy another ice cream if we happen to walk...
