So good - we had to go back!

My partner and I spent three nights in Athens and on the second evening, we thought we would drop by considering our host had recommended this place.

What an absolute treat! Adonis (host and chef) was super friendly, very accomodating and great on the grill! In fact, we spent the next day dreaming about our upcoming dinner as we intended to return.

The “ride the wild horse” is highly recommended if you enjoy meat. We were also a big fan of the homemade tzatziki, beef patties and bouyiordi! All paired well with a traditional Mythos lager.

We definitely left with both our hearts and bellies full! When we can return to Athens, we will definitely pay Adonis...

The dishes labeled as “vegan” weren’t even vegan. What a false advertisement! We waited for over half an hour (the shop wasnt full at the time) even though we were on a rush. The waitress (probably the daughter of the owner) was rude even when told that my friend was lactose intolerant and wasn’t willing to check the ingredients of some products. I tried the pork souvlaki in pita, my friends had pork chops, buffalo burgers, sausage. Everything was great with fresh fries. Got so both weight and red wines were served cold including cold beers to start. Very nice. Hit the spot. Very simple local fare with good food at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Would recommend. Not a romantic...
