Diva Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Athens

Very nice restaurant! We went here in our last day in Athens and the staff were very friendly and the two members of staff who served us spoke very good english!

They asked us where we were from and brought out a little Union Jack flag to our table, which I thought was a nice touch as we could see there were greek flags in the tables surrounding us and an Australian one near by.

I can also see this being a useful thing for them to keep tracks of what language they will need to speak to different customers.

I ordered the barbeque pizza and my girlfriend had the penne al something or other, both of which were delicious! Beer was €3.50 for the local Mythos, which I highly suggest.

I thought it was good that they also have the bill before our meal, as there have been a few times whilst in athens when we have needed to head off to make our way to our next sightseeing stop and haven't been able to get the server's attention.

Would definitely come back here if we get the chance to come to...

We discovered this place yesterday and loved it so much we went back for dinner tonight!

Absolutely wonderful wait staff. The courses were timed perfectly. There was a small mishap with too much dressing on the salad. I'd ordered light dressing, but it was quite heavy. The server noticed on the way to the table, profusely apologized and had another made right away. I ordered the 4 course meal. I am a picky eater, so I was delighted that I enjoyed every single item I was served.

I talked about it all day, which was why we ended up there again for dinner. The second time - just as wonderful. We were short on time today, so I asked the server before being seated if they could accommodate our schedule. He assured me could and went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful experience, despite our short time frame.

If you want pizza near Acropolis, I recommend this place. The pizzas are excellent (tried the Diva and Beautiful Greek Girl pizzas) and are fairly reasonably priced. The staff was very nice, but later kind of ignored us (and for example just placed the bill on the table without any contact) - hence the 4 stars. It is popular amongst tourists and the staff knows it and they asked us where we are from and brought the Finnish flag on the table, which was a nice touch! Diva also has pasta and some other Italian foods on the menu. Edit: Went there twice, and the second time tried the pasta (and inferno pizza), which was absolutely delicious. Yet, the 4 stars stands, since the staff wasn't really around the second floor and ignored us when we were trying to get the bill. The pizza was as good as I remembered. Really recommend this if you want...
