Great Bear Rooftop — Restaurant in Athens

After looking for a special place to share the evening with friends we decided to visit that roof bar. A typical location made for tourists, can be everywhere in Europe or elsewhere, expensive and a lazy service. Music wasn’t mine, a mixture of Euro pop… Ok, the view over Athens wasn’t the worst, but nothing extraordinary, just a view over a trashy quarter of Athens with the Akropolis view far away. The view is superb, but everything is priced kinda outrageously. Especially given that it's a hostel bar, and you don't even accept credit card. Also the breakfast portions are incredibly small.

My strategy is to just have 1 small beer to enjoy the view, but then I'll stick to water and spend my money elsewhere. You're bound to have no retention from long term Selina guests. Everyone there is already...

The staff (mainly the males, the ladies were nice) is very unprofessional, the music is way to loud and it makes the stay in the hotel awful.
