I was in this wine bar this evening with my wife. We were sitting at the counter and I asked a very simple question to the lady who served us, if they had any zero-zero wine, that is, without added sulphites (and yeasts). The lady was clearly unprepared on the subject, which could also be the case, but her reaction was unpolite and inadequate. She first tried to explain to me that all producers use a certain amount of sulphites to produce wine, and I necessarily had to contradict her because it simply isn't like that, pointing out that sulphites are naturally present in wine but many producers just don't add them. I think I was kind and simply asked if they had a wine that met my tastes. I would have certainly ordered something else if they didn't have it, but the lady, after repeating her thesis twice, started to snort and do other things. I told her that there was no reason to get upset and silently held my wife's hand and we left the place. in conclusion, if you work or manage a wine bar, which intends to offer so-called natural wines, I believe that it is necessary to have a basic knowledge of the subject, but for those who do not have it like the lady in question, I am sure that a little education and kindness is enough to make up...

Let's break this down: Atmosphere - the staff was very uninviting, the owner welcomed us with a cold stare and no words.
Drinks- I love wine and our intention was to drink into the evening. One glass each and we were ready to bid this place adieu. We had the lui and the orange wine, nothing spectacular.
Food- There is a cozy list of appetizers. We ordered the Moutabal ("smoky" eggplant relish/dip with bread) and the Dakos (toast with tomatoes and capers- straight from the fridge) they were as fresh as week old deli trays at a supermarket, but with zero seasoning. If you do visit, DO NOT ORDER THE FOOD.
All in all, I would not recommend wasting your money here, there are much better...

We drink quite a lot of natural wine, and were excited to try some Greek wines during our visit to Athens. We tried a few different glasses here and were disappointed by all of them. They lacked flavour, balance, and tasted more like conventional wines.
We were served by a young man who seemed to be quite unhappy to be there - he was unable to offer specific recommendations and rolled his eyes when we asked to see the menu again. For our second glasses the owner came over to serve us, and he was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately we were still very underwhelmed after trying the recommendations he gave us.
If you arenโt super knowledgeable about wine, or only drink conventional wine, this place has a lovely vibe overall. But if you are a natural wine connoisseur itโs not...
