Second time went for dinner there as the first time the naan and food ordered was yummy.Second time in with the crowd ithat came we ordered two Thalis one came and we waited patiently for another one for 15 mins before checking where the other thali was.The waiter comes picks the thali from the side table which he has placed by mistake and tried to give it to us.We said no to it as the other person whose order it was not very greedily has taken dips into the gravy and had some naan as well.So the manager comes we tell him we just dont want it as they will still try and give ithe same one. so he agrees to give a refund. On going to the cashier for the refund she still tried to palm us off with the thali and then grumpily gives me my money back.No apologies no nothing The waiter however had apologised but the manager did not care. For the food the naan were sad the second time as they were cold and dry unlike the first time .The chicken Tikka was just plain boiled chicken fried in a pan and dry as ever.Did a mistake in going back is what I realised. Shame on the couple who had greedily dipped their fingers in the thali and they...
Read moreNew update May 2024: The naanwich costs 10€ now. Now I will definitely never come back. The size is smaller, the ingredients are not as good as they used to be, and they want people to pay 10€? WHAT A SCAM!!
Been going to that place since before it changed the location and name. I had recommended it to loads of people, since it was always very tasty and vfm (not sure about the authenticity but the things I used to order were always yummy so who cares). But in the last years the quality has taken a downfall, and the prices have gone up. Not only does it cost 7€ to get a naanwich (used to be 5€ then it went up to 6€ but it was still vfm) but the size is significantly smaller than it was when it cost 6€. Not only that but last time I went the naanwich was bland (I feel like right now even the spiciest one won't have a taste), the mango was not ripe and actually I was lucky that it was warm, because the last couple of times I have been to I was always getting a cold one. Not sure I will come back again....
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying Naanwich and it was absolutely delicious! The concept of using naan bread as a wrap is brilliant, and the fillings were fresh and flavorful.
I ordered the chicken tikka naanwich and it was the perfect blend of spices and tenderness. The naan bread was warm and soft, and held all the ingredients together nicely. The chutney and sauce that came with it were also very tasty and added an extra kick of flavor.
The staff at Naanwich were very friendly and helpful, and made the whole experience even better. The prices were also very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food.
On top of that, Naanwich has a beautiful rooftop seating area where you can enjoy your meal with a view of the Parthenon of the Acropolis. The combination of delicious food and stunning views make Naanwich a must-visit for anyone in Athens.
Overall, I highly recommend giving Naanwich a try for a unique and delicious take on Indian cuisine in a...
