Red Sparrow — Restaurant in Athens

Got charged an incorrect amount for my regular cappucino Ethiopia twice. On the board there are two prices, 2.3€ for small and 2.5€ for large. Got charged 3.4€ which is a price listed only for the freddo. You don’t know until you tap your card what the charge is, so I suggest asking clearly what the price is before ordering because the staff made up some random excuse. Coffee itself is decent.

Edit: I indeed was charged 3.7€ instead of 3.4€, which makes it worse as there are only two prices listed for Cappucino Ethiopia. However the owner’s reply is not honest as the board only has TWO prices next to Cappucino Ethiopia. It is not stated clearly what the sizes are for these two prices. In the line for “Freddo Cappucino Ethiopia” there are three prices. One can only assume there are two sizes for “Cappucino Ethiopia” as there are only two prices listed for it, so I assumed it was “small” and “large”. It would be useful for the owners to make clear these are “small” and “medium” sizes. Just some constructive criticism to prevent any misunderstanding in the future. I did not want to argue small amounts of money, so did not voice my complaints strongly in front of the owner. I love this place :) It was the first cafe I visited in Greece. It was close to the hostel and I needed to plant myself somewhere before I could check in, and then I kept coming back every morning for my coffee and Greek snack.

The coffee is amazing! My fellow hostel mate told me to check this place out for good coffee and I told him I already did. Personally loved all 3 lattes, Ethiopian, Brazil, and I forgot what the last one was hahaha... Costa Rica I think?
