Athens was our last stop on a month long trip through Europe. We were looking forward to relaxing and enjoying a couple of quiet nights in Athens before heading back to Canada - we stayed at Snob Luxury Living for 2 nights.||The easiest way to describe our stay at Snob is being a parent who’s being held hostage upstairs in their bedroom while their teenage child throws a raging house party one floor beneath them. There is nothing “luxurious” about staying at Snob Luxury Suites. We understood that there was a restaurant on the first floor, but what we didn’t know was that this turns into a nightclub on weekends (Fri/Sat) that stays open until 3am. The building has no soundproofing and the doors that separate the suites from the Snob Bar are made of glass… needless to say, we had to go buy earplugs and we begun our long journey home extremely sleep deprived.||Now, had we been in our twenties and/or were looking to party and stay out all night, this hotel would have been excellent. The rooms are brand new and recently renovated with high end finishings and nice high ceilings. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The Snob branding and design is truly excellent and insta-worthy. The restaurant (bar) is gorgeous and I can understand why it’s such a popular spot to party. We were offered 20% off for brunch on both nights we stayed, but we weren’t interested after the long sleepless nights we had endured. If you plan on staying out until 2am or later, this review does not apply. But if you want to be asleep by 11pm, it’s simply impossible. The music is so loud that the walls of the room vibrate and you can hear every lyric of every song.||The ladies working were super friendly and helpful - but there is no “front desk” and the check-in experience was a bit unorganized. The only way to access the hotel is through the front entrance of the restaurant which we found a bit annoying. Every time we entered, we had to say “no we’re not here to eat, we’re staying upstairs”which gets old after the 4th or 5th time. When we checked out, we left around 6am and were told that the night guard would let us out, but he was nowhere to be found. Luckily the keys were left in the door and we could let ourselves out of the restaurant.||We won’t be returning to Snob, but we would recommend this property to anyone who’s looking to capitalize on the bustling nightlife of Athens! The location is 10/10 and everything we needed was within...

Unfortunately I can say it was not worth the wait. There are several improvements to be made before they can call their breakfast/brunch and service "decent". Let me explain myself. 1) We made reservations for 3 people using the e-table. We made a new reservation for 4 people. We cancelled the first reservation. What they read was that we cancelled both of them. They showed us their text messages proudly. They apologized after we asked them read their SMS again and this time carefully. After waiting on the pavement for 10' at 2 degrees C and explaining ourselves to the staff 3 times, we were let in to sit by the bar and we were shown a table after another 5'. Alright, unfortunate but honest mistake. 2) I do not know what the kitchen does wrong, either incorrectly using a sous vide or a microwave, they do not know how to poach an egg. Exhibit A in the photo. Out of 2 orders of eggs Benedict 1/4 eggs had a somewhat runny yolk but the white was still uncooked/raw. How can they even serve that as a poached egg? 3) First the "maître d' " and then a waiter asked us how the eggs were supposed to be cooked to our opinion after we showed them what we were served. That is unbelievable for a place charging 6-10 euros for brunch and 10-15 euros for a salad! The 3rd waiter seemed to understand and possibly made a comment to the kitchen. 4) Finding a waiter may be difficult at some times because they tend to be openly flirty with the younger female customers. There were two instances were we witnessed that and couldn't draw the waiters' attention. 5) The only answer we got for the state of our order was that "the quality depends on how busy the place is" and that was by the only waiter that understood the issue with the eggs. 6) The Croque monsieur/madame is served using two overly thick slices of bread. I'm talking about ~3 cm (~1 3/16 in). Not going to work. Not in any case. 7) The "open tomato tart" was actually an overcooked circle of puff pastry poorly dressed with the minimum possible amount of ingredients. You can find a nice photo of the dish online, it's the one served on a raised tart dish. The coffee and the outside terrace were great. Good luck.

No sleep here ! Stay away from Snob Athens if you want a place to sleep. Exteme noise until 3am! Right underneath the rooms is a club/bar with very loud music. The bed was shaking from the bass and it was impossible sleep until 3am every night. We measured the noise level and it was 60-70 DB with closed windows and curtains! Plus, you have to pass security and walk through the club every time you want to go to your room. We stayed for six days. The club is open from Thursday to Sunday, on the other days, it is a bit less noisy. Don't worry, there is another club down the street though. When both clubs are open, you will hear both at the same time and recognize the songs after some nights! This is most horrible for the rooms on the first floor (103 + 104). If you are reading this review while in one of these rooms, run for the managers office and ask if another room is empty! Overall, the staff is professional and the rooms are clean. Stay away from one of the male managers, he lied to us! He claimed there had never been any problem in our room... The next day, we spoke to his female colleague who was positively surprised that we were not screaming at her like many other guests every week... She was very professional, polite and understanding. The internal communication is bad: not only did we have to identify ourselves as guests multiple times a day, but also did it take three days to get a response to our last of three complaints - and the only one that would have gotten us a benefit for these very major problems. The room service is thorough but intruding privacy too much by unnecessarily touching and moving your personal belongings. Athens is a stunning city, but trust us, your trip will be less stunning with massive sleep deprivation. If you don't want to end up angry, annoyed, frustrated and tired like us, book another hotel. Careful, don't trust the reviews : the majority is only positive because the bar and hotel are put together. The food and drinks are okay, but the hotel itself is terrible!

A friend recommended that I come visit Snob. I’m Greek American and I live in Miami. This bar easily reminded me of a nice south beach bar! So trendy, amazing atmosphere, service is excellent and drinks were great too. We sat on the patio which a beautiful space but the inside is also really nicely decorated! We came around 3:30pm and it was pretty packed with locals! Which I loved! We didn’t order food but the table next to us did and it looked amazing. Next time I will order some food. We ordered two espresso martinis and then we saw everyone ordering this blue drink which is called “The Blue Dream”. It is a must try. We also ordered the “Snob” which has caramel syrup and mango. We thought this was a unique pairing but when we tasted it it was so delicious!!! Would highly recommend. 4 amazing cocktails for around 50€ we thought was a fair price especially when comparing to prices of a nice Miami bar.
