Athens was our last stop on a month long trip through Europe. We were looking forward to relaxing and enjoying a couple of quiet nights in Athens before heading back to Canada - we stayed at Snob Luxury Living for 2 nights.||The easiest way to describe our stay at Snob is being a parent who’s being held hostage upstairs in their bedroom while their teenage child throws a raging house party one floor beneath them. There is nothing “luxurious” about staying at Snob Luxury Suites. We understood that there was a restaurant on the first floor, but what we didn’t know was that this turns into a nightclub on weekends (Fri/Sat) that stays open until 3am. The building has no soundproofing and the doors that separate the suites from the Snob Bar are made of glass… needless to say, we had to go buy earplugs and we begun our long journey home extremely sleep deprived.||Now, had we been in our twenties and/or were looking to party and stay out all night, this hotel would have been excellent. The rooms are brand new and recently renovated with high end finishings and nice high ceilings. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The Snob branding and design is truly excellent and insta-worthy. The restaurant (bar) is gorgeous and I can understand why it’s such a popular spot to party. We were offered 20% off for brunch on both nights we stayed, but we weren’t interested after the long sleepless nights we had endured. If you plan on staying out until 2am or later, this review does not apply. But if you want to be asleep by 11pm, it’s simply impossible. The music is so loud that the walls of the room vibrate and you can hear every lyric of every song.||The ladies working were super friendly and helpful - but there is no “front desk” and the check-in experience was a bit unorganized. The only way to access the hotel is through the front entrance of the restaurant which we found a bit annoying. Every time we entered, we had to say “no we’re not here to eat, we’re staying upstairs”which gets old after the 4th or 5th time. When we checked out, we left around 6am and were told that the night guard would let us out, but he was nowhere to be found. Luckily the keys were left in the door and we could let ourselves out of the restaurant.||We won’t be returning to Snob, but we would recommend this property to anyone who’s looking to capitalize on the bustling nightlife of Athens! The location is 10/10 and everything we needed was within...
