Located in the heart of the city, Lukumades often draws a crowd, and it's easy to see why. We had to wait a little while in line, but the delicious reward was well worth it. The service is quick and efficient despite the crowds, and the staff are friendly and helpful when it comes to recommending flavors.
They offer a creative range of options, from classic honey and cinnamon to more adventurous choices like chocolate, ice cream, and fruit toppings. That said, I strongly recommend going for the pistachio it was absolutely out of this world and stood out as a unique twist on the traditional version.

Read moreBefore my trip to Athens I had seen a few videos on the places to eat, and this was on the list for trying the local dessert. The name of the shop is is named after the local dessert Lukumadez itself. They are hot fluffy deep fried doughs with a topping of ur choice. The authentic ones are with honey and cinnamon. The one with honey and cinnamon are milder in taste and less sweet. Would definitely recommend this place to try the Lukumadez in Athens. It’s a very popular place indeed and...
