Bitirinis fish street food — Restaurant in Municipality of Heraklion

As soon as I stepped into the alley, I was immediately drawn in by the smell of fish and seafood—it’s a great way to start your visit. When we placed our order, the gentleman serving us crossed the street to their seafood and fish stand (also theirs), picked out some fresh products, and brought them over for our meal. After about 10–15 minutes, we were served anchovies with fries and a "platter for 2. The platter for two really lived up to its name—it was absolutely enough for both of us, so we had to take most of the anchovies to go. That wasn’t a problem at all—the staff member packed everything up for us very nicely and conveniently.

The food was excellent and you could really tell that all the ingredients were fresh. A special mention goes to the fishballs—I expected generic, low-quality balls with some kind of filling, but they turned out to be delicious balls made of fresh fish and vegetables. They tasted great, and you could tell they were freshly prepared.

To sum up, the food was delicious and well-priced. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I can't say nothing (yet) about the food because my family and me we have tried to eat on this place in a couple of times and both times we have been told to take away our food when we were tried to eat there!!!.. We'll try ones again soon and I will update, hopefully we can find someone in there who doesn't mind us eating there.... The very first time I arrived at the place yes, it was during the night but there were people eating, the second time, I arrived at 16:14, enough time for eat, but the two ladies behind the counter was having a conversation and I asked for the menu, they didn't even looked at me (I helped myself with the menu), 20 minutes later a man appeared and my husband asked him for the food we wanted and he said "only take away" (again , there was a family of 5 persons eating) so I would suggest that if your staff want to leave the place on time, they should close the kitchen one hour earlier and serve the people who is already there at least as an...

I wanted to eat good seafood without considering whether I will get scammed or not.

This is the place that offers you a GREAT seafood with really REASONABLE prices!

Order all the seafood you want for 2 persons and take ouzo and you will still pay at most what other restaurants offer as seafood mix for 2 persons.

I strongly recommend this place if you want to taste seafood with a reasonable price!
