We went to Eva's Garden because a Lonely Planet's recommendation and it was very near our place. Nice ambience, beautiful "patio" shaded by a nice climbing vine. Some Greek options, some house recommendations and big section of pasta. Food is good, well presented and tasty. Kind and efficient service. Portions are generous. We shared a dip combination with hummus, tzatziky, and eggplant salad with home made olive bread (not pita, as they say) correct but in my opinion tzatziky needs more cucumber. For main courses we ordered one of the menu's Greek traditional main course, Mama's Sotzoukakia (beef and pork meat with garlic and cumin) a kind of meat balls -more larg than round- with tomato sauce and white rice. Yummy but the tomato sauce was a little bit acid. And one of the Mama's speciality at the menu, Pork fillet Eva's with mustard, honey & black beer sauce. Very tender and yummy and a huge portion. We order the house red wine carrafe (Agiorgitiko grapes) Good, and the only reasonable option in the wine list. As usual in Mykonos everything is overpriced. A lot, but that is Mykonos! With a couple of coffees we paid 76€ In conclusion, a good option for Mykonos, food is good, the place is very nice and quiet and the bill is...

Not recommend at all!!!!

We went two friends to this restaurant after reading the good reviews on google.

The food is ok. Nothing special. Prices are very high (but that is to be expected as this is after all Mykonos) and the dishes are relatively small.

But the main even… we paid with two different credit cards. I got home to learn I was charged twice while my friend wasn’t charged at all. I called the restaurant to check how this happened ( since I am paying extra to the bank for every action I take) the owner reply was: it is your fault. You passed your card twice, and it’s not the waiter fault. How is the waiter to know why you are paying in such weird way… that was the exact answer… which left me speechless

I absolutely did no such thing as I am inserting a code I would have remembered doing it twice.

He also went to great lengths to emphasize it is my fault I was charged twice.

Blaming the customer is outrageous! And is un heard of at any place that respect itself!! I was left with a bad feeling and will never return...

Looks pretty, is in a great location but please don't let that entice you in as will ruin your holiday!!! There are so many wonderful restaurants on the Island just be sure to avoid this one. Firstly the waiter. I am not sure if he is the owner or manager but must carry some clout or else he would have been fired a long time ago given so many poor reviews focused on him. He is horrific. Definitely shouldn't be around people let alone in an industry that relies on great customer service. A very angry little man!!!! Then the food. It is far from fresh. My wife had the prawn pasta. When it arrived you could smell that something wasn't right and one taste confirmed that, terrible!!! I politely informed the angry waiter who then started to shout at us. Not happy with his initial remarks he then verbally attacked my wife in front of the entire restaurant on her return from the toilet. Please avoid as is a health risk and the angry waiter could push the wrong buttons and force you to...

Your only stop for authentic Greek cuisine. Forget about other taverns in Mikonos. Here Eva is cooking... We went twice and tried different plates: all lovely. Must try: Fried feta w sesame and honey, Dolmades for starters and shrimp saganaki, grilled fish for main. We'll be back for musaka as word say it's the best in town...

The food here was so good, loved it. I ordered the fried feta cheese with honey and the stuffed tomatoes and I loved both dishes. The feta cheese was so warm, crunchy, and soft! The stuffed tomatoes were also so good. I also loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, very cozy and pretty. Great servers at this restaurant!
