This is a really lovely place, in an ideal location in Mykonos old town. It is more of a pension-type establishment than a hotel, but that does not detract from its appeal. They provide fresh towels every day, and quality coffee pods for the machine in the room, so good service as you would expect in an hotel. |The room was small and simple, but immaculately decorated, and spotlessly clean. Our room had a sea view, and the communal roof terrace even more so, it was a very nice space where you could relax, eat and drink your own items, read etc. It was quite private with shade and sun.|The manager was very friendly and helpful, we requested a late checkout on our day of departure and as our room was not booked that night, he very generously allowed us to keep the room until 4pm without charge, I have never known any other hotel do that.|Another generous gesture was the selection of complementary welcome drinks in the room fridge, most places would charge you for those.|One thing to consider if you have any mobility issues, there are a total of 43 uneven steps to the front door, through the streets from the main street (which is basically harbour level). But within Mykonos old town, no steps would almost invariably mean no view, you would just see the back of the house opposite, so it's well worth the short climb.|We really enjoyed our very comfortable stay here and would definitely recommend this...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Lefteris, and absolutely loved our stay in Mykonos! We booked the Balcony room, which was super lovely, with plenty of space in the room. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but I think that's to be expected in the centre of Mykonos town. In general, the location was excellent - super close to restaurants and shopping, and only a few minutes away from both bus stops. We arrived via the SeaBus from Tourlos Port, and the hotel was only a 10-minute (slow) walk from where it drops you off, for a bargain price of only 2euros per person.||||And as others have mentioned, you do have to walk up some stairs to get to the front door, but the stairs are worth it once you can see the roof terrace! A fantastic place to watch the sunset with a drink - the view was fantastic over the old town and old port. A huge bonus for this hotel.||||The receptionist was also super helpful in giving us suggestions and recommendations, as this was our first time in Mykonos. We were very grateful for his suggestion to head to Tropicana Club for a one-of-a-kind beach party, and we had a fantastic time! ||||If I had to make any suggestions, I would have liked a safe in the room, and maybe some chairs on the balcony - though the roof terrace had...
Read moreThe location is great - albeit up many steps. We were met by a staff member, who helped to carry our luggage to the hotel from the point where the taxi dropped us. When leaving, we went down the steps with our luggage, and then could roll it to the waiting taxi a few hundred metres away. ||The owner and staff are all extremely helpful and gave us good tips for beaches etc. ||The view from the balcony is stunning over the town and harbour, especially at sunset. ||Baskets of toast and jam, tea, coffee etc. are provided daily. We could not work our coffee maker, but as it was so hot, this was not really necessary and we could have asked for a replacement had we so wished. ||We had a very small budget room on the ground floor, the bathroom of which was small and not so great. Considering the location and general prices of hotels on Mykonos, this was to be expected. The room itself was small, without a view. We could have reserved a room with a view, so nothing was contrary to the advertised accommodation, so we were not disappointed. ||Transport to and from the port at 25 Euro each way seems rather exorbitant, but probably also conforms to local prices.||All in all, a pleasant experience and a chance to explore beautiful Mykonos, without...
