My friends and I went to this restaurant earlier in the week for dinner as it was recommended by several people. Half of our group arrived early, so as we waited for our other friends, we ordered hot drinks to start, as we were chilly from the high winds and low temps outside. The server was so busy trying to flirt with my friend that he put in the wrong order, bringing out frozen drinks instead of the hot version as ordered. When she informed him of the error, he proceeded to argue with her briefly and then said “maybe you said it, maybe you didn’t” then walked away from the table. When he finally came back he had an attitude and was irritated when we requested the correct hot drink and did not want the frozen one. He then asked if we wanted to order food, we said yes, and then he interrupted us and walked away again. He came back to take the appetizer order and then snatched the menu from under my friend’s hands. She asked for the menu back, and he said “you only need one” then pointed to the other two on the table. At this point, we asked the bartender and other server to cancel our order and bring the check for the drinks. Rude waiter brought the check and then proceeded to stand over our group while we reviewed the bill and pulled out € to pay. We promptly left and walked 50 feet to another restaurant. I’ve never experienced such rude customer service by a server in my life. The other staff seemed decent, but he ruined the entire...
Read moreWe were extremely disappointed with this place. We ordered sushi and a dish like dumplings. Imagine my surprise when the sushi turned out to have… sun-dried tomatoes. This is not just strange, it ruined the whole taste: they were bitter and absolutely tasteless. For a restaurant that positions itself as a place with high-quality cuisine, such a decision is a complete absurdity.
The second course also turned out to be a complete failure: they brought only 9 small dumplings, covered in sauce. They looked pathetic, and the taste was nothing. For such a price, you expect at least something worthwhile, and not a miniature portion that does not even resemble a full-fledged dish.
We paid about €70 — and that’s just for sushi, those dumplings and a few drinks (beer and Coca-Cola). In addition, the staff also clearly hinted at a tip, which, apparently, they consider mandatory.
The only thing that can be noted is the good location of the establishment. But everything else: the cuisine, the portions, the value for money, the service - absolutely does not meet expectations. We will never...
