Rude staff... The greeter was the only one with manners.

We ordered fresh fish and some appetizers. We also asked if the fish could have a side of potatoes since it didn't come with a side and they agreed. The appetizers came pretty quick and were ok. The drinks were ok as well. 20 minutes after we had finished our appetizers, I asked about the fish and the waitress got rude. After 30 minutes some other guy came over, probably the manager, to start taking the empty plates and when I asked about the fish again, he literally asked me if I had ever had fish in my life and did not know how long fish took to cook. We were really surprised by their attitude, so I asked for the check and to forget the fish. They then took 15 more minutes and instead of bringing the check, brought out the fish. My daughter and I were looking for a seafood restaurant that was original to the area - and we found one! Savoruas was recommended by a few local shops and it was incredible! The owner (a third or fourth generation owner) was charming (his name starts with an M, I can't remember it) and showed us all the fresh fish and mussels before he selected them to grill for us. Everything was so fresh and the ambiance was delightful! This was our last stop before leaving Greece and we had hoped for a memorable and tasty meal - we got one and then some! My daughter even boxed up her shrimp pasta and took it back on the ship with us and had it for breakfast the next morning before flying out of Athens. During our visit to Nafplio, we had the pleasure of dining at Savuras, a charming local restaurant that left us thoroughly impressed. The service was incredibly fast and friendly, making us feel welcome and well taken care of from the moment we arrived.

The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the food. The fried dishes were exceptionally delicious, perfectly crispy and flavorful. However, the star of the evening was the tuna tartare – it was out of this world! The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite, making it an unforgettable culinary experience.
