Simply the best restaurant we found on the East Coast. And we mean from the city of Rhodes to the most southern part. To Nissaki is also the first tavern we tried and it’s not only like one says, the first love is never forgotten!, but it truly is the best one. The food is great, exceptional starters and main courses. You have to try the Nissaki feta with honey and sesame, and the squids staffed with feta cheese, simply gorgeous! And clearly you can’t go wrong with mussels, fishes, etc. But it doesn’t end there, because To Nissaki offers the best personnel we’ve ever found, and by that we mean not only in Rhodes. We went here for my birthday. It was recommended by one of the locals at the hotel we were staying in. It was fabulous! We were greeted and taken to a table literally next to the sea. The waiter was helpful and professional. I decided to have a lobster and the menu only gave a price per kilo. Before they went ahead they confirmed the weight of it so we could make an informed decision. We went ahead - it was beautiful, well cooked and gently seasoned. After a great experience at the bar, we made a dinner reservation here for our last evening. We were given a table right by the sea with an unforgettable view. The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely divine. We ordered a salad, shrimp from Symi Island, anchovies, and charcoal-grilled octopus. Everything was a delight, and that octopus... I’ll be dreaming about it for a long time.
