After great, incredibly delicious meal and atmosphere created by two of wonderful waiters who were very talkative, friendly etc., the impression was ruined by waiter who served us. Before leaving we left money + tip (after all, I regret it because I should take it back) and took the bill (for service). Waiter stopped us, checking how much money we left and started raising voice firmly demanding from us to show off the receipt because he didn't remember what was the bill amount... accusing us that we wanted to cheat him, had to unpack the wallet form back pack, having attention of other guests focused on us. I literally felt like thief. Receipt is for customers not for the waiter... Normally I would give 5 but I am rating 3 instead of 1 for service only because of his great colleagues. As I mentioned normally for such treatment I would rate 1. I saw that when we left he was admonished for his rude behaviour. Second thing is that service should not allow for walking around cheaters who sells "hand made" paints around the tables in restaurant cheating customers. Without a doubt they are aware as locals that guy is a cheater and despite of that they still allow for this. However, after all I will recommend this place because food is exquisite, prices are beareable, and most of the service are excellent people except this one lout. If we will have a chance we will get back to the place having in mind positive...
Read moreNice restaurant with a terrace half open, half closed. Excellent seating, but a shame that a couple of nicotine addicts still think they have the right to spoil other people's dinner with their disgusting and suicidal habits. Friendly and quick service in adequate English. The food was great. A bit on the expensive side, certainly for local standards. I paid more than fourty Euro's for an appetizer (grilled calamari), a main (lamb kleftiko) and a local beer. And the lamb kleftiko was not served in the traditional ceramic pot, but in wrapped in paper on a plate. If a dish is priced at more than €20, then do not wrap it up as a snack for take away. Furthermore the beer was double the price, I paid elsewhere on the island. More than €5 for for 0.4 liter, where €3 to €3.50 for a 0.5 liter glass is normal. So this restaurant is very expensive for Greece, but on the other hand in Western Europe this would be a normal priced restaurant and there I would have reported an excellent...

People who say this place is great in any respect either must probably lack common sense or have pretty low standards.
Staff is disscorteous without being rude. All of the waiters smelled like they were in desperate need of a shower and they handled cutlery without any napkins. Of the food we had on the table:
Moussaka was bad overall, the kind I'd normally expect to be paid to eat, not the other way around. Second worst I've had in all of Greece.
Carbonnara was nothing close to the name. Overcooked, tasteless, bad sauce. Disgusting "smoked bacon" though I wouldn't call it that.
Chef salad was bad.
Pizza was bad. Had a 4 euro pizza at a takeaway near the center that was 10 times better.
Only thing they have going for them is the space. Looks kinda nice and airy which is why they got the...
