Nisos — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We visited here last week and we wanted Thai food which was on the menu so we decided to try The door man was pleasant and on entering the premises it was clean bright and airy That's where the good news ends The waitress took our order , two starters and two main courses We waited quite a while which we didn't mind so much as meant the food wasn't already prepared When our starter arrived it was just my partners and when I asked where was mine I was told don't worry it is coming My partner has finished his starter and after some time my starter and our main courses arrived together ! I explained that I wanted my starter same time as partner but was happy to accept it at this late stage The waiter left my starter and my partners main course and took mine away When I was ready to have my main course , I was brought back the now cold food from earlier with no accompaniment not rice or chips nothing I asked why and was told thats the way we eat it here I disagreed that a main course should have an accompaniment or one should have been offered as an add on which is was not mentioned when we ordered The manager reluctantly took the cold curry away and returned with a fresh dish and rice which was stuck together and not very nice The curry was definitely not authentic Chinese cuisine and was not at all pleasant to eat They offered a complimentary dessert one between us which wasn't nice either The manager and owner I assume tried to explain the server was new and hadn't good english Having dined in manu places all over the world you never blame your staff to the customer that is between employer and staff to be discussed The whole experience was disappointing and stressful for us and we didn't enjoy eating out food at different times There are so many fabulous places to eat in Rhodes town and thankfully we had only one experience in Nisos out of our whole week My advice is to...

We had such a wonderful time at Nisos! The food was very tasty, they have a greek menu and a thai menu, plenty of options. We tried different dishes and they never disappointed. But the best part was the people. The guys working there are so nice and funny, they make you feel happy from the first minute. Every time Daniel and Sokates came to the table, we were laughing! They have a special way of making everyone feel welcome. The jokes, the smiles, the friendly talks, all of it made our evening unforgettable. This restoran has so many reviews on Google so we decided to check it and it didn't blown my mind at all. My plate was kokinisto beaf: meat was cooked well and it really was tender but the taste was nothing special, even I would say un-tasty, as well as the rise. Potato had strange taste- my husband sad it is in mustard but I couldn't eat it at all. My husband took lamb ribs and he liked it so much. Ingredients they use are really high quality. Bread with garlic and cheese was slightly burnt. Kids plate, chicken nuggets, was ok as expected. Many of rewievers mentioned free icecream at the end - nope. We didn't get it.
