Elia - Olive Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

First dish(garlic shrimps) was tasteless and I found myself drinking from my girlfriends water after drinking a whole glass of Coke, just to wash the poor taste out of my mouth. Then we ordered a pizza to give them another chance and eat something good. We waited nearly an hour for our food and when it arrived the pizza tasted no better than a frozen pizza. And all of that is not the worst part; all the time while this was going on the restaurant manager, or someone high up working there, was sitting at a table drinking and getting real tipsy. And when we got our food he stumbled his way to his scooter and proceeded to drive home under the influence of alcohol.

And after all this, when they ASKED if everything was fine. The waiter had the decency to argue with me when i complained about the food. She said «But you ate it all, What was bad about the food» of course i ate it all, it cost me 23 Euros. I dont want to waste that much money. They should be happy that I still wanted to pay for the food.

This was the worst restaurant experience ever and I would recommend to everyone and their entire families to keep away...

I was blown away by the food served, I literally had tears in my eyes when tasting the veal and the beef. Never had I ever tasted meat this tender and delicious.

The live music was amazing, authentic and relaxing.

Servers, very kind. Making conversation easily and treating us to some extras in between the meals.

All in all, 5 stars. Will definitely eat here again before we leave the island. Recommending everyone to go and eat here. I promise you won't regret it!!

We've returned for a second time, once again at a loss for words. Thank you again for the kindness and hospitality. The chocolate cake and tiramisu was truly mouthwatering. As well as the complimentary limoncellos!

We're leaving in 2 days, planning to return to your restaurant for a third and final time this holiday, either got lunch...

Service and drinks are absolutely dreadful. Especially, if you go for the cocktails and drinks they generously advertise. One star for the outer appearance of the restaurant and nice live singer.

Brunette female staff member welcomed us with the most delightful face and gave us the food menus. We said we are here for cocktails, and she turned to stone, disappeared and after a while came back and literally threw drink lists to our table.

It took ages to make the drinks (which were horrible - e.g. cold Lumumba was like slightly cooled down boiled Van Houten ) and after the drinks were consumed, the check never came.

Because all the staff ignored us totally from that on, I finally paid the check by the counter and left the place with my party. No staff member took an eye contact with us from the moment we said we are there to...
