The Star Restaurant Bar Pizzeria — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

This was the worst meal I ever had in whole Greece. We waited for more than a half an hour to get what we ordered. We tried seafood and lamb because that should be their speciality. The portions were extremely small and without the taste. Kleftiko was dry and whole portion (with all potato and vegetables) was around 250g. After waiting for almost 40minutes we got Calamari dish. 5 slices of Calamari with 8 to 10 pieces of french fries had around 100g and cost almost 9e. The staff tried to be nice at the beginning but later on managed to be totaly unpleasant. If you want to eat something nice in Rhodes, skip this restaurant because we spent 50e here and went out hungry. There are lot of nice restaurants in Rhodes, you don't need to just throw your money...

For the first time in my life I have witnessed a theatre scene with the waiter throwing the bill like trash in front of me and walking away with the childish anger. 4 stars average was really misleading when we decided to enter this place. Beware that every dish here has some bonus ingredients not listed in the menu (I mean some hard stuff like lots of cheese). Red Rose sauce was a final disaster where the waiter shamingly admitted that they cooked it with ketchup and mayo. It is the same crime like adding ketchup to the spaghetti. Italians would cry...

April 2025. We visited here twice on our trip. The first night was highly welcomed after along day travelling and finding it only seconds away from our hotel. This little restaurant should not be underestimated, it may not have the va va voom ambience or look to it but the food and service are excellent. The waiter was more than happy to tweak the pizza to the way I wanted it and it was by far the best bolognaise pizza I’ve had in a long time.
