Well, here it is. Yesterday I was really stunned…….. We come with the children to this……I can’t bring myself to call it “food service establishment”! With children. 19.00 in the evening, we decided to have dinner and go to bed. Ok. They asked me to wrap up the leftovers of dinner to go (it wasn’t tasty, honestly I’ll give the kitchen 3 out of 10, but I thought that when I’m really hungry, maybe I’ll come in) pizza, saviche and shrimp (3 separate dishes, put in one container!!!! They just threw it all together!!! My card miraculously stops working. I don’t understand what’s going on…. (There’s money on the card, of course) I try to withdraw from the ATM, but it doesn’t “see my card” either…. I don’t understand, because everything worked fine all day… I have 105 € in cash, the bill with the tip is 140. I give him the cash (it leaves with the waiter right away), I ask him to call the manager. It’s already somewhere around 8.15-20 pm… I explain to him that I don’t I know what the problem is, but it's late in the evening, the kids want to sleep, sogu offer Give my passport as collateral, and come back tomorrow to pay the remaining amount and pick up the passport.
The manager says that this is impossible, that I need to pay the bill, and they don't really care. I say but my card doesn't work for an unknown reason!!! Dialogue : : Pay with another card! : I don't take a lot of cards with me to dinner! Maybe we can go to my hotel, and they'll help us there? It's late, the kids are tired (at this time one lay down right there on the pillows, the other one is starting to get really nervous) : No, you can't leave without paying the bill. Call your bank's customer service and find out what's going on, they're open 24 hours. My son starts crying, I calm him down and say Okay, then call the police! Manager, ok, as soon as you pay the bill! I get up, try to leave. The manager physically stops me … and doesn’t let me do it, says call your bank, and that’s it. And it’s not that easy to call a bank in another country without a SIM card (my SIM card is in the hotel) I’m just on the verge of bursting into tears, but pull myself together. (My son is crying, I don’t need that) I go to the bank’s application, hide there for about 20 minutes. I get (I didn’t know that there was such a thing there) to the online service, through the application. I write, explain the situation. They tell me that when I’m abroad, there is a daily limit on spending (only abroad, not in my country), and I exceeded it today. But the support service understood me, and immediately wrote back that they “increased my rate immediately, and I can pay calmly) I call the manager, I don’t ask to calculate my bill. And I leave silently. Silently, because I really want to cry. You rarely experience such humiliation. My children are generally …… just woke up, and just don’t want to go to breakfast … suddenly something will happen again, and we will be kept again. Ok. Arriving at the hotel, I see that they took 91 € from me! And 105 € in cash, for a bill of 140 (including tips!)) Here I am just blown away …… I put the children to bed, ask my friend to sit in my room with them, while I go to sort things out. I came there …. And they tell me that you messed something up, and gave 55 € and that’s it …. I say that I know 100% how much money I gave you, and even in what bills. Look at the cameras, and call the waiter who took the cash. They tell me that the waiter went home a long time ago, and they don’t have cameras… I ask passersby to call the police, because I don’t have a number. They call. They arrive in about 10-15 minutes. They listen to me, listen to the restaurant managers. They call me back: Meme, we understand you perfectly well, the situation is very ugly, and as much as we would like to help you now… In general, the only way this is possible is that we will tell you how, where and where to file a report. Of course, they are unlikely to return your money… But only after an official report can we...
Read moreWe were really disappointed with our visit to Ronda. While the entertainment was decent, the whole place just felt like it was designed purely for influencers to take photos – nothing more. Totally overhyped and absolutely not worth the price tag.
The service was genuinely awful. For the amount you’re paying, you’d expect attentive, professional staff – instead, we were basically ignored. No one checked on us during the meal, no drink top-ups unless they were trying to push us to order more, and the whole vibe from the staff was rushed and careless.
The food? So mid. The menu conveniently isn’t on their website (I wonder why… probably because it’s ridiculously overpriced). Cheapest bottle of wine? €50. Mains? €20-€50+. For that price, the quality should be amazing – instead, it was cold and slapped on the table within 5 minutes. Zero effort.
Our experience with our waiter, Aldo, was honestly shocking. First, he refused to serve us drinks only and forced us to order food because of some supposed “minimum spend” rule – not mentioned anywhere online. Then, the moment our 2-hour slot ended, he basically kicked us out. And when it came to paying, he showed us the bill on his phone for 2 seconds (in Greek), laughed when we asked for an English version, and then handed us a card machine also in Greek – clearly trying to trick us into overpaying or adding a tip without realising. Completely unprofessional.
Even worse – during our reservation, another family literally ambushed our table, sat with us, and the staff did nothing. Totally unacceptable for a place charging these kinds of prices.
Oh, and the tactics don’t stop there. We ordered a bottle of wine and the staff kept topping up our glasses constantly, even when they were barely half-empty, clearly trying to get us drunk to push us into ordering more drinks. It was obvious.
Most concerning of all – the seating arrangement seemed purposeful. We noticed groups of older men being seated right next to young girls in dresses, and the way some of them were behaving was disgusting. It made us feel uncomfortable the whole evening and the staff didn’t care at all.
Overall – overpriced, pretentious, bad food, worse service, uncomfortable atmosphere. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. There are so many better places in Rhodes – don’t waste your time...

My girlfriend found this place on TikTok, we scoped out the venue during the day and it looked amazing, came back in the evening and it was stunning. Amazing aesthetics, very classy, very sleek and modern. We get seated and look at the menu, quite expensive but nothing we’re not used to in a high end restaurant.
We order a selection of small dishes. Calamari, tempura prawn, Lindan small shrimp and the chicken bao buns. When the plates arrive, the presentation is fantastic. Matching the restaurants aesthetic it’s sleek and modern.
We decide to tuck in and the calamari was by far the blandest calamari I have ever eaten, the batter was as pale as the squid itself. Calamari should have a healthy slightly puffed golden brown coating. Not the mention the rubbery squid inside of the batter, I accept calamari has a tougher texture than most other sea food but this was far different from ANY calamari I have ever had.
The Lindan small shrimp was incredibly dry and desperately needed some form of a sauce of some kind or dressing/oil. If I order prawn or shrimp I want some kind of gambas style of coating, oozing in herbs and flavour.
Finally the bao buns, ok… that is all I have to say, they were ok. They had no sauce for added flavouring and the bao buns were watery, dripping onto my plate.
The only redeeming factor of this meal was the tempura shrimp which finally had something I can call flavour. Having only 1 out of 4 dishes I can describe as flavourful is not what anyone should expect in any restaurant.
In total we paid close to €90 for the displeasure of eating here. Me and my partner went down the road to another restaurant just so that we could actually eat something that could be described as having flavour.
We were going to head back later that evening for drinks but after such a disappointing evening we opted to...
