Sebriko — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

I booked a table for 2 yesterday (Sunday). I chose Sebriko as it was one of my top restaurants so far. Everything was wrong. One of the 2 waitresses who took our order (the lady with the shorter hair) was extremely rude not smiley at all. We ordered a salad, a starter and 2 main courses (one pantseta oven cooked and one beef steak) Our salad was ready after 20mins, the wine came at 30mins and the starter after our complains was ready an hour after we gave our order. All the people that came and order after us they had already enjoyed even their mains. When I asked for an explanation from the rude waitress, she did not mention a thing and left. 10 mins the pantseta was firstly ready (cold like ita was ready and waiting for 30mins) We asked to recook the dish and the just warm the pork and served us again the same dish. The beef was ready in the meantime (I ordered Medium and it was sooo Rear) I just mentioned to another waiter that this is reidiculus and everything was so wrong from the first moment. He then said: "that everything was on the house and please it because you were waiting so long and it is free". Very bad behaviour it is a very good restarant and the lost 2 customers for sure. They made the one mistake after the other and they did not mention anything. Only in the end they just said we lost your order and this is why everything was wrong. I said this is not an answer, I was right there, you should had come and ask me again regards to my order, explain the situation and everything would be OK. .On my latest visit, the food was as good as on previous occasions. However, all this is ruined by abysmally bad and slow service, which is also downright rude.

In my experience, It is very hard to find bad service in or anywhere near Thessaloniki, unfortunately Sebriko is an exception to that rule. I can understand that the waitress was overworked, while there were numerous staff doing all sorts of things except serving customers. This can be put down to bad management or sheer lack of management. However, this is not my responsibility. I do not expect staff to argue with me when I point out politely but firmly that I had ordered something which never came. This happened in number of times.

Several proceeding reviews make exactly the same point. Clearly nothing has been done to address this problem. That is just not good enough. I will read carefully the latest reviews before coming back to this...
