Ladadika Luxury Studios & Jacuzzi Suite — Hotel in Municipality of Thessaloniki

AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!!! Nothing at all like advertised. It's a SCAM. The landlord will tell you that he didn't receive the money and you need to pay him in cash or leave. He threw us out like dogs at 10pm, claiming that we were tricking him!!! We told him we had the reservation confirmed and the invoice, sent him screen shots and explained that we wouldn't have been able to book if the money didn't go through. But he was so stubborn. We booked it one week in advance, through lastminute.com, so most probably the money hasn't been cleared yet and he'll receive it in a few days. He kept saying that he only works with booking.com... He doesn't even know where he advertises! Anyways, the whole thing was very dodgy and the place was horrible. Not to mention the way he treated us...

It's not a hotel, they are very old studios. It's a different address than advertised and we couldn't contact him for over an hour. We were waiting for him 40° outside. The only night that we could stay we were sleeping and suddenly the bed broke and we fell on the floor. The toilet seat is super uncomfortable, it keeps closing so you can't sit there without having the lid stuck to your back, and it's in a tiny space. The water pressure from the sink sucks. The stuff for cleaning is disgusting and old itself. The TV didn't work. The aircon goes directly to your face so you can't have it on at night or...

The room was terrible. The bathroom was moldy, the walls were dirty, and the power outlet near the kitchen cabinet was dangerous—it could give someone an electric shock. The host was not helpful at all. At first, they said we could check in at 3 PM. When we were almost there, we received another message saying we could only check in at 4:30 PM. I tried to speak with the cleaning staff to at least leave our heavy bags there, but they didn’t even come out of the room. I also tried calling the host—he answered, but as soon as I explained my request, he hung up and I wasn’t able to call him again. He never apologized, neither in writing nor otherwise. As a result, we had to walk around all day carrying heavy backpacks. Because of the condition of the room and the unacceptable behavior of the host, I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone. Since then, I’ve looked around and found that for the same amount of money, you can get much better quality accommodation. My rating on a scale...
