Théatro Café — Restaurant in Municipality of Thessaloniki

I visited here during a Sunday (relatively slow one at that overall), of course the staff were preoccupied with everything else other than greeting or seating you. So you basically have to find whatever random table seems convenient. The table unfortunately, even though not having been used, was dirty and the waiter passing by a couple of times didn't bother to clean it. Later I was asked what I would like, much to my ineptitude to guess the possible menu choices, I asked for a catalogue. Then proceeded to wait 10 more minutes with no sign of anyone appearing. After everything it's the one and only time I decided to leave the establishment. I think 1 star is a fair score for the incompetence of the staff and the waste of time. Very low customer orientation.

I was part of a small tourist group and we were looking for toilets. The public ones across the cafe were closed and we were on a tight schedule, so we had to quickly find another one. We entered the cafe and found out the toilets are available for customers only. I offered to pay for the toilet, they refused and said it's possible to use it only if we order something. I asked to buy a few bottles of water for everyone in the group. They refused again and showed us to look outside for another cafe with toilet. Apparently buying water doesn't make you a customer enough.

To the cafe managers: it's nice to demonstrate basic treatment with humanity to others - it's not always...

I was annoyed at my friend for my own personal reasons and i was very annoyed with him and it was time to order and my friend ordered and he CLEARLY asked for 2 drinks in greek keep in mind we both speak fluent greek. Our waiter came back to our table and brought one drink , we had clearly ordered 2 and they even double checked it when we ordered so we were sure and suddenly acted like we had ordered one.
