Gustocita's — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

I never write reviews but the owner of this place totally shocked me today. The view is incredible but this guy is horrible. I witnessed him literally chase a couple out of the restaurant after they ordered drinks and an appetizer. He actually tried taking the drink out of the woman's hand after they paid! Horrible to customers, considering the place was empty, and they dont mention you need to order a main course. He literally yelled at them to hurry and get out, THEN CHASED THEM OUT.I left because I didn't want to give them anymore business after witnessing that.Also I'll say that they pretend the closer seats are reserved but they're not lol I asked for a window seat and he lied then gave a fancier looking couple the seat when they said they didn't have a reservation. Still can't believe he tried fighting...

Despite the exceptional view and the goodwill of the waiters, this restaurant is often crowded and cannot keep up with the orders. They take a long time to take your order before serving you. Several of us tables looked at each other and laughed at the grotesqueness of the situation, our salads arrived after at least 30-40 minutes of waiting, we were about to leave when they arrived. Then the chicken gyros was basic and not up to the standard of a good restaurant while my companion's moussaka was reheated. I might as well tell you that we did it once...

Restaurante muy bien situado en la zona de "La Caldera" y muy bonito. Cuando entras te reciben cordialmente pero una vez sentados y preparados para pedir la comida bastante desagradables. Sólo había un camarero, que diría que era el metre, para TODO el restaurante y un señor mayor para recibirte, preparar la mesa, cobrar y además muy mal vestido. Estábamos en una mesa en primera linea (que ya encargamos el día antes) y resulta que ahí era donde se comunicaban con la cocina del piso de abajo, gritando tanto unos como otros. Fue muy desagradable. En cuanto a la comida mi pata de pulpo a la brasa super hecha, las gambas también super hechas, dos platos de calamar rebozado (uno bastante bien y el otro bastante crudo). De postre SÓLO tenían Baklavá (que ni pedimos). Cuando le pedimos la bebida escogimos un buen vino del lugar y una botella de agua, que el mismo camarero nos dijo que la pidiéramls grande así no lo tendríamos que molestar otra vez. Nos quedamos impresionados con este comentario. Al camarero se le cayó detrás mío una copa de vino que me salpicó en los pies y no vino ni ha decirme cómo estaba, si necesitaba una toalla o algo para secarme. A la hora de pagar con tarjeta de crédito había cola (yo era el cuarto). Se hizo eterno pues estaban gritando con la cocina y el camarero. Resumiendo, no lo recomiendo a nadie. Queríamos pasar una velada tranquila viendo la puesta de sol y fue un estrés de cena. No están preparados para dar un buen servicio. Les falta mucha cultura y educación. No cuidan al turista y no comimos bien. Normalmente suelo hacer buenos comentarios de los restaurantes que voy pero éste no se merece una buena crítica por...
