Miretta Gelateria — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Well we got there twice. First time with my family and because the ice cream was really good and tasty we recommended it to our friend to go all together there and taste it once more. My wife ordered one scoop with a flavor of loukoumi same like the first time we have been there. She started eating it until she found a small surprise like in kinder egg, but in our situation the surprise wasnt pleasant as she found a hair in her ice cream. So i told that to the manager... She replaced it with a new scoop and for that mistake(which is a big foul) i was expecting at least not to charge us for the two more scoops i have ordered at that time. On the contrary she told me she wouldnt charge me the replacement scoop( it sounded as she did a favor to me) and of course she charged me the two more scoops i have ordered. Well i usually dont write reviews but in situations like that, when you find a hair in your food and the costumer service handle it as an amateur in the food business, it really doesnt give me any...

I love their ice cream/gelato, the cones, and the service. I love the flexibility that you can have half/half ball of 2 tastes, the cones are always fresh and crispy and they just add this additional little something to the great ice cream. The selection might vary. From what I’ve tested - my absolute favorite is coconut, which is actually a vegan option, not too sweet, just right. Other great options to try in case you do not like something too sweet - cheese cace and Greek yogurt. Absolutely amazing and/or unique flavors are apple sorbet, apple pie, cherry. Strawberry flavor is for those with a sweet tooth; mango and pineapple are so good you can’t resist.

I love the girl who works there! She is so friendly, helpful, and just with a super nice vibe - she makes sure that you will really enjoy your selection and gives to try the flavors of your choice.

I went there with a company twice already and we will be coming back again whenever we can.

I love ice cream and can eat it all day and night! After visiting the beautiful Greek island of Zakynthos (Zante) over 12 years every year…you find many friends to whom you become a family member rather than a customer or tourist. Not long after returning from Zakynthos last year my friends told me about a Gilate’ opening soon near them 😃 Having a look at their selection of Ice creams in photos I’m making plans for their “Moka” coffee to you and me 🤤🤤🤤 But I also I love Orange Sorbet 😁 I hope by next year they’ll have it too.
