The best pizza in all my life! I believe I ordered the cajun chicken pizza (minus the jalapeño) with a glass of wine and it was AMAZING!! The pizza had a crispy crust, juicy chicken and the seasoning was spot on!

A must visit! Not to mention there’s also a free indoor and outdoor Art museum, local artists/merchants and seemingly endless seating at the restaurant and other tented areas on the property that really encourages one to take their time, relax and enjoy the views of the city and volcano. Plus there’s a playground for kids and large and clean restrooms.

Free shuttles will take you up to the restaurant (which saves on the parking fees) and they run nearly every 30 mins. Orlando drove my shuttle, and I must say how wonderful he was! Such a sweet and friendly man who spoke or waved to everyone who passed with a sincere and happy gesture! He literally made my day better by all of his positive energy and embodied all that’s good in this city!

Tip regarding the free shuttles: Just be sure to double check on when the shuttles stop running and when the restaurant closes so you don’t get stuck paying for an uber to get down or walking back to your destination late. There is a phone you can use if you need to call for a personal shuttle, though I’m sure...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Tenedor and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a cozy and traditional atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

The food was simply outstanding - every dish was expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, from classic Mexican cuisine to innovative fusion dishes, and everything was executed to perfection by the talented chefs.

The staff at El Tenedor were also a highlight of my visit. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, always on hand to offer recommendations and make sure that my dining experience was exceptional.

The drinks menu was also impressive, with a great selection of wines and cocktails to choose from. The margaritas were particularly delicious and the perfect accompaniment to my meal.

Overall, I cannot recommend El Tenedor enough. If you're looking for delicious food, fantastic drinks, and a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I will definitely be returning on my next trip...

Only negative experience while in Antigua. We were trying to spend our last night enjoying a nice dinner. We opted to go to El Tenedor del Cerro as we heard (wrongfully) that it was a good place to try. The service was extremely slow. It took approximately 15 minutes for the server to greet us. When he finally decided to show at our table, he decided to take to whole order at once, including starters, drinks and main course. To note that the server didn’t know what the menu. Most likely his first day working as a waiter. We ordered dessert and were waiting for 20 minutes before we decided to ask why it hasn’t been served. The answer: the waiter was having dinner. Awesome !! Nobody told us and if we wouldn’t asked we would be still waiting for the “amazing” server. Conclusion: Avoid this overpriced, under delivered place. Go to any other restaurant within the...

If you’re looking for a place that combines great food, breathtaking views, and a touch of culture, El Tenedor del Cerro is a must-visit while in Antigua. From the moment you arrive, the setting is absolutely stunning — perched high in the hills, the restaurant offers panoramic views of Antigua, the volcanoes, and the lush valley below. It’s the kind of place where you want to slow down, soak in the scenery, and stay a while. The food was fantastic. I ordered the grilled d mahi mahi fish, and it was cooked to perfection — fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and relaxed, matching the peaceful ambiance of the location. There’s also an art and sculpture park on-site, with galleries and installations scattered throughout the grounds. It adds a lovely cultural touch and makes the whole experience feel like more than just a meal.
