The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the oysters. Served with a delicate yet bold combination of flavors, they were hands-down the best oysters I’ve ever had. Fresh, plump, and perfectly seasoned, they were a testament to the chef’s mastery.
As for the sushi, it was nothing short of extraordinary. Each piece was a work of art, crafted with precision and care. The fish was impeccably fresh, and the rice was seasoned to perfection. The menu offered both traditional options and creative rolls that showcased an innovative approach without straying too far from authenticity.
The service was equally impressive—attentive without being overbearing, and the staff was more than happy to explain the origins of the dishes and make recommendations.
In short, this restaurant isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a destination for anyone who appreciates the finer aspects of Japanese cuisine. Whether you’re a seasoned sushi lover or new to the experience, you’ll leave with your expectations exceeded. Highly...
Read moreThis was a very good sushi experience in Budapest. We ordered the river boat party for 2 and had the wasabi tartar salmon appetizer. The presentation of the food is also very beautiful and you can tell that thought was put into each dish.
The service was excellent. We arrived 30 mins early because our earlier plans had been canceled and they very kindly accommodated. The servers were all very kind.
While I will admit this is not the best sushi I have ever had, the overall experience for the price...
Read moreThis Japanese restaurant in downtown Budapest has a sophisticated interior and great atmosphere. The service is outstanding, very warm and considerate. The food is beautifully presented too. I highly recommend trying their unique Bao Bun Burger, which is a fluffy steamed bun filled with crispy soft shell crab. Also the Scallops Honey Moon is excellent, definitely a must. We ordered a sushi selection called Surprise For Two, which has everything from salmon, tuna to shrimp. We enjoyed the variety however the sushi’s tasted a bit bland. The cream cheese on top is an unusual combination of flavors, especially cause it tastes more like whipped cream. Then again this is just our personal preference. As for the desserts, Mango-Chee is a good choice to finish off your meal. If you visit this place, you’ll have a wonderful dining experience...
