We visited this restaurant twice, hoping the first experience was a one-off. Unfortunately, on both occasions, we waited well over an hour and a half for our meals — and these were simple dishes for just four people. We weren’t alone; everyone around us seemed to be waiting just as long, with many looking visibly frustrated.
That said, the staff were excellent throughout. Despite being clearly understaffed, one young woman in particular was doing an incredible job, running the floor almost entirely on her own. Brody House is one of the most inspiring places I enjoy going to. Tucked away in the heart of Budapest, it’s not just accommodation — it’s a beautifully curated experience. Every corner is uniquely designed with artistic flair and thoughtful details. You feel like you’re living inside a creative journal.
The atmosphere is relaxed, elegant, and full of character — perfect for artists, creatives, or anyone looking for something more soulful than a typical hotel or drink. The team is warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful.

Read moreBrody House is definitely a place for explorers, scoring points with its unique interior charm! The ambience is rustic and cozy, with a focus on music and other art forms. A Highlight was the live guitar that gave the whole place a special atmosphere. Unfortunately, there were also a few drawbacks. The service was very nice but a bit slow. It seemed like the team was understaffed, which led to longer waiting times. As for the food, it seemed like the dishes were mostly presented very nicely but there‘s definitely a lot of room for improvement to do justice to the great location and ambience. Overall, Brody House is a fantastic place for a drink and to enjoy the atmosphere and live music. However, if you value high-quality cuisine, you should probably keep...
