MINDENEM cafe brunch lunch — Restaurant in Budapest

Took too long to receive our food! We ordered croissants and goulash and we waited for an hour! They did apologise for the long wait. I did notice people who came inside after us received their meals first so I was quite upset about it. They were a big group as well. We were supposed to receive our meals before them.

The food was quite average. The potato and carrots were not cooked fully. The food was not worth the 1 hour wait! Very disappointed.

I was so disappointed that I wanted to just leave after the 1 hour before receiving food but my partner stopped me.

Such a wonderful place! The staff there is incredibly kind and welcoming(especially Nori she is the sweetest!!!) and the food is incredible and reasonably priced. They also kindly accommodate to requests and have a picture book of everything on the menu for ease of selection. Please eat here if you can while visiting Budapest as it is located right next to the national museum and easily accessible(most of the staff speaks English as well which was very helpful)! I was here for breakfast, which was on the underwhelming side. Eggs benedict, like in a lot of Europe, reminded me of eggs with mayonnaise on them rather than hollandaise sauce. Coffee was standard. The service was fast and friendly. The tables outside on the sidewalk seem cute but because this is a busy street with lots of cars and people hurrying about their business, they may not be the best choice of where to eat.
